the reason i hate myspace

apparently over the past 24 hours, all myspace accounts whose login email is an @vampirefreaks.com email address were deleted. this includes my personal myspace account, the vf magazine account, cybertron account, as well as hundreds of vf members who had myspace accounts.

clearly this is unacceptable and I refuse to support myspace in any way after this. We haven't done anything wrong, this is perhaps another one of myspace's stupid moves to try to discourage competition. First they disabled youtube videos, which were enabled again due to mass outrage, then they disabled photobucket videos, which were enabled again after they decided to buy photobucket instead. Now looks like vampirefreaks is the latest site on myspace's hitlist.

In case you do not know, myspace is owned by NewsCorp, which also runs Fox news, which is known for twisting its news stories for its own political agendas to further the control of the bush administration.

"Tom" is nothing but a mascot who has sold out and now pretends to actually write any code. Myspace has over 300 employees and teams of programmers yet somehow is always experiencing technical difficulties and "unexpected errors".

Sorry but I will no longer be found on myspace, so if you want to contact me you can always contact me here on VF. In related news, Velvet Acid Christ recently deleted his myspace account and is now exclusively on VF.

Apparently the vampirefreaks myspace account is still there, perhaps because it was using a yahoo email address, although at this point it may be a matter of time before that account is deleted as well. If you do decide to continue using myspace, I do urge users to complain and spread the word of their wrongdoings.
