the devil hunter is in the details
"You a customer, too? Well, if you need to use the bathroom, help yourself."If you want to know anything about me, the work I do or who and what I work with, you can find that out here. I'd tell you myself, but I don't want to bore you with the details. If you've got a job for me, stop by my office or give me a call. You'll need the password, though. Talk to my contact Morrison about that. And now for the OOC info:
I am a woman in my 20s in real life. Now you know.
This costume has some inaccuracies that I'm well aware of. The gloves are a bit off and the mouth positions on male avatars are a bit strange, but I'll eventually find a work-around.
The username is in honor of how I got started roleplaying as Dante. Gaia's Halloween 2009 event was titled "Demonbusters" and I'd coincidentally dressed my main account in this exact costume. I'm a huge fan of the DMC series (I've seen the anime, but even though I know every inch of the story in the games, I don't own any of them) and, after talking to a friend of mine about the idea, I opened an RP event thread. It had a sluggish start and so did I, but once the door was open, the flow just kept coming. It reached 162 pages of almost solid informal RP and 2,425 replies. My regulars loved the place and asked me to continue it after the event. The only problem with that was having the thread attached to my main account, which I like to change in and out of cosplay. Thus I created this account for the future continuation of the thread.
Yes, the outfit is that of DMC3 Dante. No, that doesn't mean I'm locked into acting as DMC3 Dante. Since I know the full canon, my portrayal is based on his DMC4 incarnation (same voice, same actor, small changes). I'd say this allows for a greater degree of freedom in how I play Dante since everything in that canon counts. This is just the best, most accurate version of his outfit that I could pull together on Gaia with my level of perfectionism. You can tell who my RPC is, so that's all that matters.
With all that seriousness out of the way, feel free to leave a comment, visit my thread
or what have you.
"Though, a fight every now and then does make life a little more interesting, don't ya think?"
