About
Loughlin G. Sep. 18,1993-Oct. 27 2008
A teen lost his life in a car crash on Monday after the SUV he was riding-in slammed into a farm truck, parked on the side of the road.
Now friends, classmates, and teachers are pulling-together to show support for the Garner family.
Loughlin's friends and teachers describe him as friendly, compassionate and respectful.
On Monday morning, Loughlin, 15, his mom and four siblings were in a serious car crash outside of town. He died at the scene. This was his first year in high school.
Classmates at the high school made a poster with Loughlin's picture. The poster sits in the hallway where students and staff can write memorial messages.
Loughlin was only in high school for nine weeks before the crash, but the principal considers him one of their own. That's what makes this loss so hard on a school community that's so close.
Loughlin's brother and sister continue to recover at St. Alphonsus in Boise.
12-year-old Cyrus and 8-year-old Maya are both listed in fair condition. The two were air-lifted to St Al's the morning of the accident.
He was my best friend...and he will always be missed. Sadly i moved away before we went to high school together...I wish i could've been there to have seen him...the last time i saw him was at the end of my 8th grade year almost one year ago.
Now it is two years later and i have also lost my aunt and got kicked out of my house...it is a very hard time in our family but we will persevere
