About
Hey there! Welcome to my profile. Leave a comment to let me know you're there.
-I live in New York City. It's so safe here that tourists have begun to stop by for a visit. In fact, it's so safe that Harlem is being gentrified. It's too bad they still crowd around 42nd Street and buy "I love New York" shirts. If you plan on visiting, don't be part of that group who take up all of the sidewalk to stop and stare. You're blocking the road. Don't take the car, you'll just be frustrated because you can't find parking. Learn how to read the subway map, it's easy.
-Real estate here is skewed. 500k can get a nice house in Ohio, right? But here, that gets a 800~1000 sq. ft. two bedroom apartment in a decent neighborhood. Still cozy, but it boggles my mind. Then again, it's Ohio. lol Sid. Ohio. Haha.
-On a better note, the food options are phenomenal. There's food that fits every budget. There's a small dingy restaurant in Chinatown that sells lunch for $2.75. It's a small box of white rice, chicken, and boiled cabbage. Halal carts are decent. Chicken over rice costs $5. There's chicken, onions, rice, lettuce, and tomato. And it is usually topped off with red and white sauce. And it's everywhere. Literally everywhere. I remember shopping in SoHo and there were 7 Halal Carts on that small stretch. Of course, if street food won't satisfy then use Zagat. That book contains information on every restaurant. I took good food for granted, and I realized that when I went out to other states to visit family. So, I'd like to learn how to cook. When you can cook well, you can impress other people. It's like bragging, but without being obnoxious.
-I want to take up hang gliding and fly above the Morning Glory Cloud. But I won't bungee jump. I don't like the concept. Jump off a ledge and stop just seconds before my face hits the ground. No. Just no.
-I don't like strong, negative emotions. Trying to reason with pettiness makes me annoyed. I either dwell on negative emotions and foul my mood for hours or bottle it up and let it subside as I do things I like. I don't like intoxicating emotions either.
-I feel too dependent on the internet. Just once I'd like to try and live in the woods without a phone or computer. I think I would be able to get a lot done. Personal development I mean. Like, learning new skills and taking up new hobbies. I spend a lot of time on youtube just browsing through videos.
Don't ask for donations.
