-My real name is Paige, but I prefer Vera or Verainne.
-I am 19 years old.
-I am NOT your average American teenage girl. In fact, I am the prime example of what NOT to base a teenage girl off of.
-I'm extremely talkative. I never STFU.
-Unfortunately, along with being talkative, I swear like a sailor. -However-, I can limit that depending on the situation I'm in. For instance, I never swear around children or at adults.
-I respect those older than me, no matter how unfairly they may treat me.
-The above holds true for those younger than me and those the same age as me.
-I'm told I'm mature for my age. I say bullshit.
-I love to draw. <3
-I don't have the same sense of 'funny' as everyone else. Most modern comedy is just stupid to me.
-Comedies I -do- like are old and outdated, such as I Love Lucy and Golden Girls.
-I -don't- like Dane Cook, but I -do- love Jeff Dunham.
-I love to roleplay. I mostly do open, fantasy type roleplays.
-I like music with meaning to it, and even more so if it's poetic.
-My favorite types of music, in no particular order, are Metal, Hard Rock, Rock, Japanese Metal and Rock, Pagan, Whatever category Imogen Heap, Dido, and Jem fall into, and Visual Kei. Any combination of the above may or may not be acceptable.
-I'm a hopeless romantic.
-I support love, be it gay, lesbian, or straight.
-I'm open minded-- I'm willing to accept you for who you are, no matter what your flaws, likes, or dislikes are.
-I don't really have 'favorites' in life. There's always something you like more/just as much.
-I'm single, and I don't want or need a romantic half. I'm not closed off to dating, but I won't go out of my way to search for a boyfriend.
-I do -not- like to be treated like a chick. I prefer rough housing, talking about hot chicks and porn, and hanging with guys.
-No, I'm not a lesbian. However, I find very few men good looking, where as any girl can look at a woman and think ' she's pretty! o: '
-I am -true- to -myself-. Why should I change to be something else, if you don't like it? I won't know you in ten years.
-I don't use chatspeak, and it does annoy me, but I won't shove you in a meat grinder if you use it around me.
-I own two cats, the sweetest bits of fluff ever.
-I do have a bit of an annoying obsession with Japan, however, it's not based around a love for anime. I grew up in a family with a lot of Japanese friends, and they've always interested me.
-I do love Anime, as long as I'm watching it in Japanese.
-I mostly listen to music in Japanese, so don't be surprised if I don't know a popular band or song that's not Japanese.
-I'm a Nichiren Buddhist, which means I chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo.
-The above statement is important to remember, because it is a large part of who I am.
-I don't like, nor approve of drama. Don't try to make me pick a side- it's not my issue, and I'll stay neutral, thank you very much.
-I don't take s**t. Don't think because I'm all smiles and friendly that I won't put you on my ignore list. I won't bother fighting back, you're not worth it.
-Music about distasteful sex, drugs, and/or violence disgusts me.
-I believe in RESPECT and I N D I V I D U A L I T Y.
-I hate Twilight.
