Hi, I'm a fan of Dawn from Pokémon. So, I decided it might be nice to do an avatar for her, because I think she's just so cool.

In the Anime she is a Pokémon trainer and coordinator. She travel's with Ash Ketchum during Pokémon: Diamond & Pearl. Following in her mother's footsteps as a coordinator, She chooses a Piplup, which she had already befriended at an earlier point, and she set out with the goal of winning the Grand Festival. After meeting Ash and Brock, she became rivals with another coordinator, Zoey, as well as her childhood friend, Kenny, and she goes on to win the Floaroma Ribbon, the Wallace Cup's Aqua Ribbon, the Celestic Ribbon and the Chocovine Town Ribbon. Before entering her third contest, she was very confident in herself, training with her Pokémon before every contest.

However, after entering the Hearthome City Contest, she started to lose confidence after she became the first coordinator to not pass the first round for the contest. She has a tough personality and is commonly seen running after Team Rocket when her Pokémon get abducted, going through various obstacles in her way. she is much like Ash on this side, and will do anything to save the day - or perhaps become a hero. Appears in seasons 10-12. She currently owns a Piplup, a Buneary (who has a crush on Ash's Pikachu), a Pachirisu.

She also picked up a Swinub which later evolved to Piloswine and then Mamoswine and also acquired an egg which she won in a battle, which it later hatched out a Cyndaquil. She owned an Ambipom (who evolved from her Aipom, who was currently captured by Ash and later was traded for her Buizel). Like Ash with Pikachu, she always keeps her Piplup out of its Pokéball unless it is during a contest, though this was not the case until the episode "Hot Springing a Leak".

Now I want to take some time introducing the rest of her counterparts here..

Dawn (Game version)

Dawn (Japanese: ヒカリ Hikari) is the female player character of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. Her male counterpart is Lucas.

Dawn lives in Twinleaf Town with her mother and dreams big, so she and her best friend (and soon-to-be rival) have high hopes of catching the legendary Pokémon of their nearby lake. After meeting Professor Rowan and his assistant Lucas, they are attacked by wild Starly and as a last resort, use the Pokémon in the briefcase the Professor has forgotten. After bringing the Pokémon back Dawn receives the Pokémon she used as well as a Pokédex and goes on to gather the eight Badges of Sinnoh, defeat Team Galactic and conquer the Pokémon League all before taking on the Battle Tower.

She has to stop Team Galactic from trying to use either DialgaD or PalkiaP to destroy the entire universe in order to create a new one.

In Platinum, Dawn and Barry instead go to visit Professor Rowan at his lab rather than go to the lake in search of a Pokémon of the same rarity as a red Gyarados. They receive their Pokémon on Route 201 when Professor Rowan realizes that they are so dedicated to Pokémon as to attempt to travel from Twinleaf Town to Sandgem Town through the tall grass without any Pokémon of their own.

In addition, Team Galactic attempts to use both Dialga and Palkia, but they are stopped by Giratina. Finally, Dawn has to go to the Distortion World and face Giratina, in order to stop both worlds from destroying each other.

If the player chooses Lucas, she will become Rowan's assistant for the game. Dawn lives in Sandgem Town with her little sister, grandfather, and father—who works as an assistant of Professor Rowan. She is already the Professor's assistant at the beginning of the game. She also demonstrates to the player how to capture Pokémon by capturing a wild Bidoof.

Years later, her exploits are referenced by Cynthia, who remembers a young Trainer who defeated her.

Platinum Berlitz (Pokémon Adventures, manga)

Platinum Berlitz is a main character in the manga series Pokémon Adventures and the main protagonist of the Diamond & Pearl arc, as well as the titular protagonist of the Platinum arc. She is based on Dawn from Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. At first, she was only known by her family name; her given name is the same as the then unreleased third version to Pokémon Diamond and Pearl: Platinum.

For her skills, she is given the title of "Understander".

Mitsumi (Diamond and Pearl Adventure, manga)

Mitsumi is Hareta's traveling companion who is known for being quite good at Pokémon Contests. She was the strongest member of Team Galactic until she defected. She gave the National Pokédex to Hareta in the bonus scene at the end of the Diamond and Pearl Adventure! book.

A little about the admin..

An Otaku (Anime geek) and Pokemon fan as well. Dawn is the admins most favorite character in Pokemon. Dawn is really awesome, very cute and has a great personality in the admins opinion. She was the best travel companion Ash has ever had. The other kind of Anime the admin likes are usually magical girl, romance, slice of life and comedy like genres. The admin also loves Anime with a lot of cuteness and well Dawn is pretty cute. Yes, the very kawaii kind of cute. Anyway that's about it if you wanna know more just ask, can't wait to be friends :3
