Well, what do you want to know? My name is David and for a lot of you I’m a lot older than you. My daughters are in their 20’s and I have five grandchildren.

I like anime, games and chatting so I’m on here a fair bit when I have time.
I have a low key personality and don’t like manufactured drama. I treat people fairly and kindly and expect the same in return.

I live in the Northwest part of Washington State not too far from the Canadian boarder.
I’ve traveled the world and been to about 23 countries and many of the states. I’ve seen rich people throwing away money in Monte Carlo like it was nothing and I’ve seen poor people digging through dumps in Egypt trying to find enough to survive. Same story with poor people in the Philippines living in bamboo huts and selling plastic bags to tourists.

So, don’t whine to me if you can’t afford the latest game for your X-Box the day it comes out or the brand name acid washed torn jeans. If you live in a country where those things are even a concern to you then count your blessings.

Over time I’ve had a variety of jobs including operating and supervising in nuclear power plants, working in refineries, computer networking support, managing an apartment building and bookkeeping. I am also a registered hypnotherapist with an advanced certification in hypnotherapy.

I am opinionated and honest so if you ask for my opinion about something you will get it.

My mother was a music teacher. Between that and my travels I like a wide variety of music. I enjoy anime, sci-fi, fantasy, camping, white water rafting, and beachcombing, scrounging garage sales for good deals on stuff I don’t really need (LOL) .

It has,sadly. I don't know how long you've been on the site, but if I recall correctly, the peak was around '07-10.

I don't quite remember the login record for the anniversary, but I was distracted with another site at the time.I even missed out on getting the box of chocolates for my main account. emo

And, yes, a max user count was a feature until recently. Hmm. I wonder when they took it down.

It really does depress me a bit to see this downturn. I've been on this site for ages. I was so excited to send in a donation and get my MC. I don't entirely get what's happened. I would suspect the focus on other entertainment venues might play some part, alongside with the recent bout of layoffs. I wasn't even against the idea of Rumblekitten, only it won't work on iPads.

Sorry, now I'm just rambling. sweatdrop

I always try to beat things I get w/o anitibiotics if I can. I hate taking meds.

It's been nice today. Sunshine all day, but living on the beach it is still coolish out. Enjoy you day. I'm heading off for some dinner shortly. biggrin
