“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” -Steve Jobs

And a little about my life outside of Gaia. I graduated from one of the top SJMC programs in the usa during December 2011. I did my major in Journalism and Mass Communications but I focused on the Professional Strategic Communications track. This track was a focused on Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism and Marketing. Aside from SJMC, I also minored in Chinese language and literature. In addition, I also have a degree in fashion design from one of the top fashion schools in the world.

Outside of academia, I enjoy photography, reading, news, design, fashion and clothes shopping. I do freelance design, marketing/campaigning, editing and quality checking. My favorite news network is Al Jazeera English. Cantonese is my first language and yes I am Chinese. So I speak American-English, Cantonese, and a bit of Mandarin[my reading is better than my oral skills].

Oh I prefer to cut the sugarcoating and usually prefer getting straight to the point.

Haha I'm considering UCB, UCLA, and UCSD. I just visited SD campus yesterday-- it was a long drive but it was worth it 4laugh And thank you so much!! Your positive feelings are flowing over and it's making me feel all fuzzy redface I was considering attempting to transfer into bioE but now I'm considering public health-- it's something I never really considered, and something I feel is definitely worth looking into. As of now, I'm a biology major though xP And dang, good to hear you're following your dreams!! How is it so far? ((:

Sorry, forgot to mention that, yeah, pretty much confirmed with any car. xD I've been in a couple of limos, a BMW, Mercedes, even a Land Rover. I always get sick. ;__; And, unfortunately, I never got to drive any of those vehicles. D8

Trust fund babies are usually raised by other trust fund babies, and they just hire people to do all the housework for them. xD An unfortunate but true fact of life. Your roomies might end up as trophy wives, but with enough connections they can end up with some pretty shiny jobs. Another unfortunate fact of life: if you know how to rub elbows and with whom, you'll get to high places, even if you don't deserve it. However, they probably won't ever learn how to cope with real problems. I have a friend who's also a trust fund baby, and she's a really, really nice girl, but she honestly believes that getting called names by girls from an all-girl private school is justification for home-schooling and private therapy sessions. Like, that's seriously traumatic to her. She doesn't think I could have handled it. I grew up in a pretty ghetto-tastic school, name-calling would have been a blessing (I don't tell her about my own school days, she'd just think I was lying and trying to compete with her... I'm just happy I don't live in her world). xD

You never know with people, though -- some of them actually break away from the norm and surprise us all. As for those who don't, I'm the same as you, I don't have much sympathy for the majority of them. Most of them are such assholes and bitches. Spoiled f***ing brats. xD

And yeah, she'd call me up, and the sound of her voice describing her little discoveries made me crack up hard enough to give me 8-pack abs. I miss those days.

ROFLLLLLLLL @ the shower water ~ reminds me of some of the stories my trust fund baby friend would tell me about her friends and family (usually in frustration -- she's very sheltered and ignorant, but she's intelligent and has enough common sense to apply it in most situations, which is why I tolerate some of her rich-girl "quirks" wink . Like, for example: a cousin of hers drove her car onto a dirt road for the first time ever, and when she realized that her car wouldn't immediately go careening off the road just because a few rocks hit its body, she automatically assumed her car was bullet-proof. This same girl also thought that a carpenter was someone who sold carpets for a living, and that you can use liquid drano to unclog your intestines if you're constipated. Tip of the iceberg, that one.

HAH, must feel great getting those windows open. xD Hope you didn't have to break your palms shoving them open.

Nah, it's pretty much a tried and true fact for me with pretty much any car. xD I've always been easily motion sick, I even get sick on swings, but for some reason I don't get sick when I drive. I'm sure there's some complicated explanation concerning the inner ear and whatever, but it's enough to know that unless I take double the dose of dramamine, I'll get sick in the car if I'm not the one driving. Even worse if someone is chewing gum. The combination of the smell of the gum with the motion of the car will cut the time it takes me to get super sick in half.

Seems like trust fund babies are always the worst types of roommates. I had a friend who had a trustfund roommate right before me, and she had the worst stories... like her old roommate would get her period and leave blood smears on the toliet seat, and one time she left her dirty underwear lying out in the living room and it grew mold (friend was out of town for a week, that's what she came home to, lololol ).

Do all of your other roommates seriously all think that way with the cig smoke and the organic veggies and everything else? I mean, are you seriously the only sane person in the household? xD RIGHT THIS SHIZZ DOWN, SOMEDAY IT WILL MAKE YOU FAMOUS

And yay for finally getting the window open ~! How did you do it? 8D

I have to be the one driving. It's not a control thing. I just get really, really car sick unless I'm the one driving. Not sure what that's all about.

Wow... so, like, did they seal the windows or something? They could have just put up bars or w/e, that way people can still open windows for fresh air and no one falls out. xD

They AAAAAAAAARE. But I can't blame them, considering all of the eyes they got watching them. xD DEFINITELY not for me, though. I'm generally a good person, but I get my fair share in traffic tickets. In fact, I got a traffic, I got a traffic ticket a couple of months ago. It's the first one I've received in years... but I still got one. xD

I definitely will. Since last commenting, the chances are much higher that I may end up overseas somewhere. WE'LL SEE.

And ikr with the organic stuff? I've met sooooo many people who thought the same thing. Also, you ever meet one of those people who think that organic food offsets their smoking habits? Like somehow, eating organic undoes the damage to their lungs? Them: "You really shouldn't eat that candy bar, it's full of chemicals, not just sugar, and that's super bad for you." *Sucks on cigarette* WOWOWOWOW
