About

“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

I started this game in Jan of 2004. I went on hiatus in 2006 and usually logged on randomly to change my outfit and such. As of April 2011,I am more active now after 5 years of hiatus. Not sure how long that will last, i'm quite on and off with gaia.

And a little about my life outside of Gaia. I graduated from one of the top SJMC programs in the usa during December 2011. I did my major in journalism and mass communications but I focused on the professional strategic communications track, meaning I focused in Advertising, public relations, journalism and marketing. Aside from SJMC, I also minored in Mandarin Chinese language and literature.

Outside of academia, I enjoy photography, drawing, reading, news, design and clothes shopping. I do freelance design, marketing/campaigning, editing and quality checking. My favorite news network is Al Jazeera English. My favorite stone is jade just because its so simple but yet so beautiful. Cantonese is my first language and yes I am Chinese. So I speak American-English, Cantonese, and a bit of Mandarin.

Oh and I should warn you, I do not sugar coat my word. I do not like wasting time and prefer to get straight to the point. Yes I am rather cold/blunt in a way. Call me heartless if you please.

-If you message me with poorly formatted text that is not eye friendly. I am less likely to read it and to reply to you. Ex; 50 sentences in a paragraph or is just too difficult to comprehend the context.

Yes, using paragraphs is quite important. If you have a hard time reading what you wrote.. Chances are I will have a harder time.

    Core journalism principals.
  • Adhere to the journalistic values of honesty, courage, fairness, balance, independence, credibility and diversity,
  • Seek truth and report it
  • Minimize harm
  • Act independent
  • Be accountable

One of my favorite quotes.
But I must include a quote "To love someone deeply gives you strength. Being loved by someone deeply gives you courage. -Lao-Tzu"
I have several people I care about and a 情人. I'm grateful to have them in my life and for everything they've done for me. 他们是我的幸福。

Yeah i must be secretly emo or something lol mood swings interpreted by sad profiles and goofy names

I thought the same thing my big brother wants me to go to the human resources office. No they didnt give me a raise though ive been told multiple times Im consistently the fastest on the lists that come out each week for IPH, the items you ring up per hour.

You arent allowed to call off sick either because it counts as a point. 6 points and you get fired no questions asked. The people seemed nice at first... but their policies are horrid.

Wow Im sorry. I wish you could get one sooner. I have some friends who are trying to apply right now and are having no luck either. Its also summer so all the kids who are out from school are putting in applications as well. I know at work they said so many people are putting in applications they raised the re-apply hold from 60 days to 90 days because its taking forever to process the ones that are being submitted. But the store is going through remodeling so I dont understand why they are taking their sweet time. We are constantly short handed

Hahaha, my siblings and I are all "NONO" when it comes to sending us to Chinese Schools. Learning the language is one thing, the scary stories about them doing cane-punishments and 50 over pages homework scares us enough. The school I went to taught us mandarin, but it just didn't help? I ended up memorizing chinese characters instead of actually being able to read and write them. sweatdrop

Tbh, when I'm on the bus back to college, and the bus driver can only speak in Canto/Mandrain, I start rehearsing my canto in my head and when it's time, I'd go to him and tell him where to drop me off. : | Worse thing is the fact that it sounds so awkward when I speak in Canto. It's just...there's this slang. :/

Holy crap. I envy these people that can learn Chinese like it's no sweat! emotion_donotwant
One of the Canadian in my college, the way he speaks to me in Canto, I go - HO FISH; if only I can speak like that - my parents would be proud.

Hahaha, that's the way of speech around here. There's this video made about a month or two ago - "Only in Malaysia".
Pretty funny, but it's really true about us. /cough
At least some of us. xD;
