-Iowa isn't just corn; we have beans, too (thank you, AG)
-Sometimes, looking in a person's eyes is scary
-History is a story that is constantly being made and told; maybe someone will learn something from it and change the world
-Maybe someone already has
-The few true geniuses in the world are seldom recognized as such because what they do "isn't that important"
-I am not one of them
-Stories are an escape from the world we created for ourselves
-Some of the people who were in charge at critical points in history were idiots (Hitler= good and really bad)
-Not everyone has strong opinions
-Time doesn't heal ALL wounds; it just makes us forget what we can't forgive
-There doesn't necessarily have to be a god; most of us are, in fact, capable of being nice without being threatened with eternal damnation
-The Bible isn't necessarily true
-On the other hand, the ten commandments do set a good base for rules to live by; not only that, but the acts of kindness and the parables can be applied to life (with caution; let's use a little common sense, people)
-The above statements are not intended as an attack on religion
-Gravity and reality checks are what keep us earthbound
-The pen (or pencil, or quill) is mightier than the sword (unless the sword chops the writing utensil in two)
-Where there is smoke, there is... bacon! (lol)
