Name Inspiration/Origin:
-->Mythology= King Danaus's 50 daughters, the Danaids. All of them murdered their husbands on their wedding night, except one who took pity on her husband, and as punishment, must draw water with a sieve in Hades for all eternity.

-->Danaidae is also the scientific name for the milkweed butterfly family. [Poisonous!] Ex: The Monarch Butterfly.


I am Danaidae, often called Dana or Lai or various other aliases that I'm known by. You can find me in the Minishops forum, namely the R&C or the R&C Auctions or in Coerul's Lovely Panda Toast Shop or [Hyde]'s Sweet Vanilla Joint Shop or the GCD [Gaia Community Discussion]. If you look for me in the GCD, I'll probably be at Grunny\'s Empire. I also frequent other threads like the Hyposyndicate Triad in the Chatterbox. I do stick around the quest threads of my friends as well.

I don't like explaining nor am I able to to save my life so please refrain from asking me. It makes it a heck of a lot easier for both of us. If I'm lucky, I can come up with a "smart" post once in a while.

By the way, the multimedia is from an event in Japan called Flashbomb [which has recently been renamed "The Slashup" oO;;] in which Flash artists make movie animations.

By the way, the image in a black, blue, white, etc. color scheme was drawn by Spined who is quite the exceptional artist. Sadly, last I heard, he's no longer around Gaia.

Also, please avoid PMing me unless it's so utterly urgent but even so, you can now PM my mule: Danaidae` Don't forget the little mark at the end of the name. :3 My other mules [Y a n - Y a n, Database Error, Lalai, etc.] aren't checked as often so I don't recommend trying to contact me through them.


You're welcome to look at my coding however all graphics are copyrighted to me so no taking them. o=< I'm not all that talented in CSS anyway so you're better off looking through the various coding lists. :3
