Hey everyone,
I'm Lori and welcome to my profile. I actually originally joined Gaia on
January 18th 2005 But my original account got hacked and then got banned because the hacker decided to use my account to hack other users. Nice eh? -chuckles- No big deal. If you look at it that way I have technically been on gaia for over 6 years. It still blows my mind how addicting this website can be. And don't fool yourself, it IS addicting.
Most important thing about me is that I am a hardcore Pentecostal Christian : My faith is what defines me, both as a person and in and throughout my life. It influences all that I say and all that I do. That's how deep this goes. I've been a Christian since the age of 7 but didn't really take it seriously till I was about 18. At that point in my life I had hit rock bottom and I needed to start the journey out. It's been 5 years now and I am out of the hole I was once in and on may way to being the woman that God has created me to be. Below is the "Apostles' Creed" it basically takes what I believe in and wraps it into a neat little statement.:
What I Believe In:
I believe in God, the Father almighty. Maker of Heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ, His only son, our Lord. Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Potius Pilate, was crucified, died and buried. He descended into Hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. The ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from where He shall come to judge the living and the dead, I believe in the Holy Spirit, the universal church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and in everlasting life.

No there is no beach. But we have a house at the village that both my parents were born and we go there for holidays. It is just awesome! The sea is like 50m away! I can see it from the balcony! In the ocean? Well I haven't swam in an ocean either! It sounds huge and full of gigantic fish!
I stopped working out only during my last year of exams but before this I was quite working out... Not much now though..
My mother had "a talk" with me about school and that I need to get re-focused again... truth be told, she's right. Starting Monday I need to get back at it....
Hiking was amazing! No ropes etc just free hand. was amazing. Just proved that I am out of shape though. Need to start getting more exercise again.
what kinds of work outs do you do at the gym?
Oh my God!!! This is awful!!! O_o Oh....... At least he is back home... Well, I understand now why it is so difficult for u to focus... It is not a simple problem...
Wow, free hand!! Haha that is so awesome to just explore nature that why! smile Yeah I need to exercise more too! Summer s coming and I have to look good on the beach! razz
Haha well I do everything the gym has, but I ask the people working in the gym about exercises that are for specific things. For example I ask them for stomach and butt! XD
But also I run a lot! Running helps a lot! wink
Hmmm then go for it! It's easier to work during the summer cause you are less stressed! wink You will complete all your classes, I am sure! smile
So why was the week THAT much better than the weekend? XD
Wow! If you waited THAT long I imagine how hot it was! Here it's raining XD! razz
Haha I get tired quite easily too! sweatdrop but I really like running and going to the gym in general! wink It feels really good! I can imagine how you felt when u reached the top and saw the incredible view... smile I can imagine how it was! Omg I SO want to do that too!!!! I am super jealous... Did you guys had also ropes and stuff?
Well, like all weekends: staying home studying all day... XD Today were my 2 first exams: Greek and Physics... I can't wait for summer to come...
