Actually, that's kind of bad, since that would be a new instructor for every year I've done it. But yeah, my freshman year we had a volunteer temporary instructor for band camp and the rest of the time we just used a DVD. The next year was a good instructor, but she got a teaching job somewhere far away so that's why we had to get a different instructor for the next season. Last year we had Satan. This year we have a sorta-friend of Satan's who would help us out last year and she's pretty much like a mother to all of us this year. And the only year we had guys on guard was my second year. Both gay guys. One of them was a complete p***k sometimes, but was good at the work (which was relatively easy) and the other is pretty much the most awesome dude in the universe. The first guy graduated and the second guy couldn't do guard anymore because he had to choose Drama over Band due to a leadership position.

After high school, I'll probably be done with color guard for years and years... unless a school is desperate for an instructor and I need some extra cash xP
