Lapis Chronicles Characters

These are all characters from my series of stories called the "Lapis Chronicles". Each one is from a different "element" of area. An example is Obsidian's story takes place in a Egyptian-esque area where his arm is possessed.

Welcome to my profile. You may guess I'm Goth or Emo yet I'm not actually. Just really into the dark stuff. Always have been. It affects my personality, my life, my stories, and everything about me. I'm 15 years old. Male as you can guess. I am obsessed with writing, reading, video games, psychology, animals, and anime. I avidly write stories hoping to get published one day (if I get the courage up to show one of my stories) and also hoping to bring a new genre to the fantasy and sci-fi teen stories. I want to make the stories match what society is growing more into. Mature. Not in the ways of romance and such but more gruesome and/or depressed atmosphere. I'm sick of the pixies and "Happily Ever After" kinda stories. Teenagers are nowadays more adult like and should be able to read like one to.

I will also add some services to those that want it. First off if you want a story or "backround" made for your avatar to see what your guys/girls history is. Might be fantasy, might be real life. You may pay if you feel suit but no need I love writing and love creating new stories. Only problem is I need Inspiration which is where your avatar comes in. Second off I am also able to make a story for your guild, profile, or for whatever reason about any subject you would like. An example would be if you opened a RP guild that focused on a group of Vampires, I would be able to make a story telling your cult's past, achievments, beliefs, and primary objective. In a nutshell, if you want a story for anything, throw me a PM and I'll be glad to start writing.

P.S. These services are all free. I love writing and always need practice so I'll be happy to help.

As you can see by my many pictures and paragraphs, I am kinda obsessed with the Fantasy race of Dragoons. Dragoons, in my opinion and stories, are always a half human, half dragon mix usually a knight or fighter in some way shape or form. And speaking of pictures, the pictures of Gaia intreperted characters from my story are all based on the people I have created. Info about my story and the characters in the story are all down at the bottom. Please read and PM me if you would like specific info.

In conclusion I'll tell a few more things about me. My name is pronounced Cre-sen-tie not Cre-sen-tee. My look is always changing so my character that looks like me from the story might look weird compared to how he's supposed to look. I will except any and all friend requests, its always nice to meet new people. And last but not least I am open for critiqueing anyones writing and stories, I can give advice, correct, or just tell you what I think. This is free so don't worry.

Hey, thanks for visiting my profile. For whatever reason you have come here, to visit, to comment, or to just see who I am, I would like to offer you something. See, as someone who likes to write, I need practice. So to be nice, and to polish my skills, I would like to offer making a story for you.

See I got the idea, to practice writing and to have fun with my friends, I would make them stories about what they want. The stories are usually 2 or 3 paragraphs, and aren't as detailed as my real ones, but then again, to have a story about yourself and whatever you want has always made my friends happy. We laugh, talk, and have a fun time making and reading them. So now I'm doing the same in Gaia, to practice and perhaps even meet new friends. So this is how it works.

Procedure to get a story:

1.PM, comment, or contact me in some way to give me a picture of what your Avatar looks like. Don't forget to dress your avatar in the way you want your character to be

2. Give me any and all info you want in the story. Genre, morals, relationships, age, ecetera ecetera.

3. I will confirm on your story and will start working. When I'm done the story will be in the next PM.

Death Knight: Blight of the Despised

Genre- Dark Fantasy
Inspiration- The Undead from World of Warcraft really set a whole new personality for monsters. It gave them a way of thinking, acting, and not simply out for brains. So I thought "What would it be like if you were to become undead, yet still were not corrupted?" "What if you were just a kid who didn't want to be evil or kill people?".

Description- “Help! Help, is anyone in there! These monsters are coming they followed me here! Open up for god’s sake!”. A screaming frantic voice came from the other side of the door. Groggily I pulled myself up from the chairs and rubbed my face where I had been laying on. “Please if anyone is in there let me in before they get here!” the man was wailing by now with desperation in his voice. I cautiously went to the barred door and peered through the hole made by one of the dead. The man had his head turned looking around most likely for any of the undead. The man looked normal and fine so I rushed and took the table away from the door and opened it up. “Oh thank goodness someone’s inside I thought the others would find you before I did” he said his face still turned….. “I’m glad that the rest didn’t find you, they’ve been hogging all of your type for themselves, greedy little pigs.” the man said. “What are you talking about?” I said slowly backing into the inn. “Well its just that I haven’t really gotten to eat yet so…”
He said as he slowly turned around. His face sent a shiver down my spine, he turned to reveal that his lower jaw was completely missing, his tongue hanging out slurping side to side with drool slipping down. He chuckled, “So gullible”
I started to run when he lunged at me with all his force tongue slurping at the air. Knocking me too the ground he grabbed my face and….that’s it. That’s all I remember.

The Despised is one of my best, creative, and worked on stories out of the couple I have. As you can tell it is a dark fantasy, and yes zombies are an aspect of the story. The main plot of it is were a man, only 26 years old, goes about an existence that is devoid of life. After being attacked he wakes up, 46 years later, with a virus coursing through his system. Unlike the normal infected beings, he has a seperate mind, one that is not controlled by hunger and the need for gore. Through the ages he attempts to find ways to fend off complete corruption, through working with nobles and paladins, and in the process helping the nation fend off his kind.

The Depths

Genre- Sci Fi/Adventure
Inspiration- I got the idea from one day going out in Arizona and seeing the point where you go from nice and rich, to slummy and crime ridden. It kinda showed me that you could almost draw a line and say "This is the bad area, and this is the nice area.". Sad but it gave me the idea!

Description- What is good, and what is evil really? When you see two people, one poor and dangerous looking, and the other well kept and seemingly friendly, who do you think is the one who you can trust? In this story, I'm trying to show that sometimes what you see is not exactly what you get. The Depths is about a futuristic Detroit. where the line has been marked for who is poor and vile, and those who are rich and proper. A mechanical, floating city has been placed above the area where the supposed poor are kept, so that the rich may feel safe and may live. The above city of gold and lights is called
Heaven's Cloud. Though below, in the city of murk and scars, is called by the Heaven's Cloud denizens,
The Depths.

A newly-wed man named Kite never really thought about The Depths as he was born and raised above. Though when he walks into an office where a highly respectable buisness manager has been murdered all was changed. With the haunting thought of being framed lingering in his mind, he sped down the highway without any though of safety. Before he knew it he was falling down into, well...the depths.

Vast Sea

Genre- Adventure/Fantasy
Inspiration- Going over the ocean to the eastern countries when I was young I remember feeling in awe of how big the sea was. I also found myself wishing I could sail the seas and explore. Go figure.

Description- When a world where water is the land, and land is scarce on its own, sailing is common. For many its a way of income, for others sailing is simply used for exploration. But for two individuals it is used to search for another life, another place where land is stretching as far as the eye can see. The search is their life, and their way.

A Bard and a Bandit. A Boat and a Sail. Where it can lead is boundless. Leo, a Bard who has sailed the seas searching for this unknown land and telling tales through songs to others. Melye, a Bandit joined forces with Leo for reasons unknown and also to find this land.

After a year together they are that much closer to figuring out the mystery shrouding the island. What awaits them, is just the beginning.

Genre- Dark Fantasy
Inspiration- The book Night gave me the idea of the slavery aspect, Diary of Anne Frank gave me the idea of turning it into the form of a journal, and the video game Elder Scrolls Oblivion gave me the setting.

Description- I think this story truly shows my personality in many ways. My feelings towards my family, friends, and the way I express them in situations. The character is me, in esscence.

The main character's name is Indigo. A rare person among his species, one who's back is marked with blue scales. This is called Aquarius. The story is about his life, one which turns for the worse during the first few chapters. He is taken away by slave traders to live in a camp where cruelty is common. His struggle and sacrifice to help his sisters survive the camp is the first half of the story.
The story is about his struggle in the camp, and the escape he makes when he is 19.

From here the story explains his life after the camp. Picking up the parts of what his life was, joining a Slavery Rebellion group by the name of Twin Lamps, and his journey to find his sisters.

Citadel Legends

Genre- Sci Fi/Action
Inspiration- Of course as you can guess Mass Effect gave me the setting and part of the plot. But while playing I kept thinking to myself, "How would I handle the situation?". That brought me to the idea of making a another survivor of Akuze (A massacre that happened during the game) and show how they went about their life.

Description- Akuze, a massacre of 134 military service men and women. The name is taken from the area. Supposedly there was only one survivor. But even then he had no idea what happened. But in truth there was one more. And he knew exactly what happened. What happened there was no accident. The Threshers, an alien worm-like monster with a voracious appetite for gore, were released, not natural. A group named Cerebus were simply testing what these beasts could truly do.

2 years later, when the incident was forgotten, the survivor by the name of Wake Cutter had been able to sneak aboard a poacher ship and return to civilization. But not to tell his story, but to instead plan the downfall of Cerebus.
