I consulted the great Google, and Chicago is supposedly only slightly better than Miami. All the one ways and constant construction detours are what really make it difficult though. It's not bad if you know your way around, or so I'm told, but I don't, lol.

I follow almost all of the Drag Race contestants on Twitter and Instagram, and whenever anyone is in Chicago it looks super fun and cool, but I'm basically a child and need a buddy to go anywhere.

I'm right by Chicago... well 20 minutes to an hour depending on where in the city.
I usually don't go up there though because driving with those psychos gives me anxiety, haha.
So I've never gone to a drag show (unless you count pride) and I want to soooo bad!

I tried so hard to find season 1 online, but I just couldn't do it. If I could still torrent stuff, I'm sure I could, but I can't.
3 did have a lot of bullies and too much clique drama, but I remember loving Raja, well Sutan, when I watched ANTM like a decade ago.
omg, you're so lucky! I want to go see the tour so bad, but they're not stopping in Chicago and both St. Louis and Indianapolis are like three hours away! crying
My boss' brother works at a gay club in Chicago though, and sometimes they have drag performers, so I'm just going to hope that there will be one when she takes us out for a girl's night, haha.

I just adored season 7, but that was honestly mostly Katya. The whole anxiety thing really got me on a spiritual level.
Jinkx got me with the underdog thing too, like just being a weirdo and being totally okay with her weirdness was awesome to watch.
I really couldn't pick a favorite season, but I think probably 6 for me. Watching Bianca be able to read a b***h all the way to the library and then break out being a sweetheart was so good.
I finished off my binge just before working Anime Central, and the quality of wigs and the inability of cosplayers to really pin down a wig drove me crazy the whole time, haha.
