Corticept: A mushroom thought medicinal to Chinese herbalists, it's found growing on some insects; namely grasshoppers and ants. Different types of the Corticepts fungi can be found specializing in one of the many insects found to harbor their spores. That is to say, those growing on ants look much different than the Corticepts fungus growing on a moth. Also, while the spores are growing inside their victim, the insect is a zombie of its former self; shambling towards high points so that when the mushroom grows the spores spread far on the wind.
