Hello there, friend! You can refer to me as Phoebe. I just turned 21 years old and I am a Christian. I love to make jokes mostly by means of impressions, goofy faces, or movie lines. I work better and harder when I am praised. I gets easily angered and angry when provoked but I'm usually to nice or afraid to expose my true feelings. I also get easily jealous. I like to be take precautions in any risky situation. I love to lead but i also don't mind being led. I love to dream and daydream especially about anime. I am talented in the arts and music and I like to draw anime and I sing in church, play drums and clarinet and I also like to act in plays, skits and dramas. I love to make new friends. I loves animals and plans on becoming a zoologist someday. I currently do some volunteer work at a wildlife center and hospital caring for opossums, raptors, skunks, turtles, and such. I also have two cats which I raised since they were two weeks old. I like to play video games like Zelda, Tetris, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Guitar Hero, etc. My favorite sport is volleyball and I even played in high school where I received award for MVP. I like to go fishing. I likes lemons and limes and all other citrus fruits. I hate shopping for clothes, jewelry, or shoes especially if it's just window shopping. However, I like shopping if I already know what I am looking for like a grocery list. I guess it's fun and feels like a scavenger hunt. I like to write down my thoughts and I make lists for everything. I'm a big baby when it comes to internal pain such as: headaches, cramps, tooth aches, etc. However, I thrive on external injuries such as: scratches, bites, cuts, burns, etc. I often look sad or angry when in reality I am just deep in thought. I hate appearing as a tourist and would rather blend in with the locals. I hate being told what to do right as I was about to do it. I can't stand a conceded person. I usually spend my time online reading manga, watching anime, or chatting with people. Other than that, I go to church, work, and school. Well, that's all I can think about at the moment.

That's a sin in itself and that's what you need to repent of. You may be being deceived that somewhere it's some kind of humility, but it's really rejecting Christ. It's saying "I'm so great a sinner Christ can't possibly love me". I want to ask you something: what were you like before Jesus ever changed you? Do you remember? Even then, even when you were THERE, what did Christ do? He opened your eyes, He loved you. Now that was when you didn't even care at all about God and didn't even care about sin: you weren't even worried about it, am I right?

What has He done in you now, over time? You're not perfect, you're so far from it, it's so true. However, Jonelys, look at your life: are you what you used to be or are you really different? ANY changes that He has made? You see, the Bible explains that you WILL bear fruit: it does not say how fast. It also explains that there are people who produce more fruit than others: is it possible that not everyone grows at the same rate or produces as much fruit as others?

Satan is a liar, Jonelys. God is always saying "Come here." and Satan is always telling you "You can't go!". I want you to watch a couple videos, if you have the time. I hope that God uses them, that He speaks to you through them.

You may have seen the Paul Washer ones before, I'm not sure. Regardless, they are good as far as showing that Christ really does love us and even exceedingly so. Unless you listen to Lecrae, you probably haven't heard the songs though.

You can't pay God back. You can't. Even giving your whole life and letting Him use you to "pay Him back", you can't. You see, everything you're trying to give to Him to pay Him back, He has given to you in the first place. The biggest thing I'd bet that is holding you away from God right now, which may well be holding you in all kinds of sin, too? It's not trusting Christ, it's not trusting that He really does love you like He says He does. You have to trust Jesus, Jonelys: faith in Jesus Christ is what saved you, not works. You have messed up so hard, you have, I know because I have too... but He doesn't love you ANY less! You see, to Him? You are spotless, you are so beautiful, there is NO blemish, you're not filthy at all. Why? How come He sees you like that, how can I say that? It's not because you're so good at doing works or you're so holy: it's because Jesus Christ died for you and paid for all of your sins, all of these things that are making you feel so far away and hated and unloved are all already paid for. He really does love you, Jonelys, He really DOES love you...

I feel like, for awhile, especially after we got out of that cult we were in? I think I've been trying to do works in order to please God, kind of like... as if my works will earn my salvation, though I never would have said it that way. Getting joy from my performance instead of just getting joy from what Christ already did. I'm pretty much just trying to trust in Christ, which is funny because it's like, it seems trying is working: I should just trust. Sometimes, I can, and it's just like it used to be before I ever got caught up in that cult. Nevertheless, I still feel like there's a struggle in me to really just trust that Jesus DOES love me and that I can just let the good works flow from that love.

I can tell you, for several days now, when I do manage to just trust Him? I am at peace and just have joy, and whatever good works I do? They really do just flow out. Like, it's not begrudgingly doing what is right, it's just happily doing it, not because it will make God love me more but because I love God and I KNOW He loves me, that it doesn't matter how much I have messed up, even in that cult: Jesus already paid for all of it.
