Starting off this introductory, I'm Riza Hawkeye.
I joined the Amestrian State Military at a young age as a sniper and became renowned because of acute sharpshooting abilities. Later on, after the Ishval Civil War, I also showed exemplary close-range combat and shooting skills.
At the house, I'm simply Riza, and am only family to my Shiba Inu, Black Hayate. Other relations include my grandfather, Lieutenant General Grumman. Close relations revolve around my military unit and Rebecca Catalina, a friend under my grandfather's command. After being stationed at East Command, we split up. When transferred to Central, I was shipped with Second Lieutenant Jean Havoc, Second Lieutenant Heymans Breda, Sergent Kain Fuery, and Warrant Officer Vato Falman -- all under the command of Colonel Roy Mustang.
The Colonel and I have known one another since he took up alchemy training with my father, who was also a Flame Alchemist. Afraid of revealing his secrets to the world, to people who would abuse the power, he stored his life works on my back as a tattoo. Roy has been the only one to see it, and he was also the one to use his Flame Alchemy to burn it. Now it is impossible for anyone to abuse the power... And I feel much safer being this way. Had my tattoo corrupted someone else's mind, I don't know what I'd do.
Now, as a First Lieutenant under Roy's command, I will strive to help him achieve his own goal: become Führer. Should he stray from the righteous path, I must fulfill my duty as his bodyguard, his adjutant. (His babysitter).
