I am an interesting blend of a pessimist and an optimist. I daydream a lot, maybe too much for my own good. I drink a lot of iced tea and I love the sound of pouring rain. I don't like my feet, so you'll usually find me in socks and tennis shoes, even during summer. I like watching old Disney movies- the good ones. I keep old ticket stubs from anywhere I go. I have very large hands- it' true, next time you see me you can look for yourself. I'm not very photogenic, but that doesn't stop me from taking a whole lot of pictures. I've been in hula since 4th grade and I don't intend to stop. I don't spend my money on materialistic things- I prefer to spend it on experiences, which is why I'll spend $15 for a movie and popcorn, but not $10 on a shirt. I participate in RP's on Gaia, although I don't like reading the other people's posts. Right now I'm working on my costume/makeup skills. I like sitting inside and hearing birds chirping in the tree in our backyard. I love how the moon looks reflected in the ocean. I prefer mashed sweet potatoes to regular ones, although both are delicious. I fill up the walls of my room, the downstairs closet, and my school folders with pictures of the things I like. I can spend hours doing absolutely nothing on the internet. I enjoy playing on tire swings, and someday I want to build a tree house. I prefer being in nature rather than the city- big cities have never appealed to me. I enjoy listening to the Bud Light "Real Men of Genius" commercials, although I find alcohol disgusting. I love looking at the night sky- stars fascinate me. I love music, both playing it and listening to it. I take really long showers, and chew ice even though I know it's bad for my teeth. I collect playing cards, and have around 70 decks at the moment. I'm truly a hopeless romantic, although I lack the courage to express my emotions. I love watching B-movies with my family, and participating in karaoke, both good and bad. I don't always turn in my homework, especially in math. Before I die I want to ride in a hot air balloon, but for now my goal is to try every flavor of Top Ramen. I'm a sucker for fat birds and chick flicks, and my friends and family are everything to me. I'm definitely not a perfect girl. Sometimes I wish my life was perfect- hey, who doesn't? But then I take a step back, and see all the wonderful people and beautiful places I'm lucky enough to have in my life, and I realize that maybe being *imperfect* isn't so bad after all. <3
