Flyleaf-Lacey Mosley this next song is about a girl i met on tour i girl who came up to me she was burned from her head to her toes and she didn’t have any hair and he nose was brunt off and it was really hard for my to look at her and she came up to be directly and she said “let me tell u my story” she said that “when I was younger I thought that if I got married and had children that I would live happily ever after and when I did get married I was in love and everything we had are first kid and we started to fight and everyday it just got worst and worst to the point were he was beating me everyday and I didn't want to wake up anymore.” and she said that “so I poured gasoline over my whole body and set myself on fire to try to kill myself.” and I sat there I was just looking at her just in shock and didn't understand why she was telling me this because she just looked so honest and vulnerable she was like “I just want to tell you this....when I was on fire I was in so much pain that I prayed for the first time in my life and I said god if your real please take my pain away and at that moment I went into a coma and when I came to and then I knew god was real because he heard my pray and so I want to tell you so you will believe in god and you won't waste your life like I did.” and that the whole point of this song and I want to tell you guys that you can go through life and you can go through emotions of whatever you doing and not live life to the fullest.... but this woman she showed me her drivers license before she was burned she was so pretty, pretty enough to be on a magazine cover and at that moment she just looked so beautiful to me because beauty is not about what’s this is about what on the inside so that what she was saying she was pleading with me everything....don't waste your life like I didn’t use it for god and that’s what she was telling me so let me say this she was being selfish we get depressed and when we think about suicide is really all about you think about yourself its very self centered and suicide is a very thing and that’s what she was showing me. and that what I wrote this song about its called Tina
