These children don't ask for video games. They won't cry if you don't get them an iPod. They're crying because they don't have enough food in their bellies. They're crying because they're tired, they're scared, or that they know without education they can possibly never escape from poverty. They live on less than a dollar per day.

Developing countries like India, Africa, Vietnam, and Madagascar, to name a few, have more frequent deaths than USA for example.

People in those countries tend to produce more babies than in wealthier nations. Because they want to combat the high death rate from poor living conditions, so at least some of their kids will live to adulthood. Many children don't make it past their first birthday.

Because they're poor, they use what's around them to live. They cut down trees, destroy habitats, poach animals, whether they're endangered or not,. All to support their families with a small income, illegal means or not.

They don't have a choice, those are some of the only options they have. Let's give them more options. Let's donate money.

You'll help these people stop destroying the environment, help their people to live better and stop dying. You'll prevent the deaths of endangered species also. When the people live better, they'll reproduce less, their children will be happier, we can even get them education that they need.
