I will neaten this up a little bit later, but heres the jist. I decided to copy this from my myspace, cause this is just soooooooooo perfectly me in a fairly 'concise' form already, the work went into it, so why redo it. I will add as I go along, more and more. ""I figure i might as well put something into this box here. For everyone that is just dying to know more about and and such. Ireally don't like doing these so much, but i guess it's a neccessary evil.
So, who am I?
Well, let's start with the earlier stuff. I was born in Rhode Island, and then moved to the mountains of Vermont early on. I lived with my Grandmother in a Bed & Breakfast, and we had lot's of really neat visitors from all over the world come and stay with us. I got into cross country skiing, and a lot fo hiking while living up in the mountains. I stayed there till I was a junior in HS, and then moved to Northampton, MA, then on to Boston.
I am a bit of many things. A bit of a geek, a bit of a musician, a artist, a writer, a reader of books, a cook, a thinker, a creator, a filmmaker, a listener, a speaker... I enjoy many things, some with more passion than others.
I love music, both listening to it and creating it. The sound i currently have going is a little strange, some noise, some ambience, some spacial tricks, and a few beats thrown in for consistency. I also am into the art of Dj'ing, mixing up two songs or more to make a consistent blend.
I do some writing, mostly poetry, but have also been working on a new screenplay, loosely based on things that have happened to me in my life with a few flourishes added in here and there.
I am deeply embedded into the computer world, especially mac's, love them with a passion, and have ever since they were first put out there for the world to enjoy.. Had an apple before that. I am fairly good with other operating systems as well, but a bigger fan of osx. FreeBSD is pretty cool as well. All the other nix' are neat, but i don't know, seeing as my hardware will run osx, i don't really get much of a chance with other the flavors. Have many a friend with the gift of code, and am trying to get this gift myself. I love the idea of learning a language that speaks to the computer and tells it what to do. Also have a lot of friends that run servers on KDX, and also spend a lot fo time in both MUD's and IRC, bringing me back to the days when i messed round with VAX.
I love film, have made a feew in the past myself, and enjoy the process one goes through in order to create film. I am a huge fan of horror, sci-fi, anime, animation, anything with strange psychological tricks, like a lot of action, some drama, a good dark comedy...
I love taking something apart to find what's inside, I have been a fan of knowing what's going on inside of something ever since i was given how things work when i was a kid. I do quite a bit of creatve work, have made some web sites in the past, designed a few logos, and played with other mediums as well, love mixing them up and getting different htings to happen. I am a big fan oof photography, love how you can capture an image in time, for all time.
I'm good at listening to what others have to say, and i do hope i can get the same form a person. Love traveling, going anywhere, getting up and saying, hmmm, let's just take a roadtrip. Want to see more of the world, am excited about a trip to thailand i will be making in August.
Am always thinking, trying to improve upon how things are working now, and always hoping that someday i might even come up with a new plan, a new way to do something, or a better way to do something, and then maybe come up with a business plan for it. I would like ot find myself working for myself as opposed to working for someone else.
I love to cook, bake, and create in the kitchen. I was trained by my grandmother wwhen very young, and she taught at a culinary institue, so you can imagine that I learned from the best.
I have done some singing in the past and would like to do some more in the future, I have been in quite a few theatre productions and really do enjoy acting. I am hoping to find my place in some new pieces in the future. I also played violin for over 7 years, as well as voice training for 10 years and piano for about 6 or so. I also learned any instrument they needed an extra of in band.
I do like some sports, end up watching a lot fo the red sox games, miss playing soccer (I was a goalie), used to skateboard till I messed up my knees bad, would like to try snowboarding, as well as surfing, and wakebaording. Also love wrestling, would also love to find a sparring partner.
There is a lot more to me, but you'll just have to ask...
Who I'd like to meet:
I would like to make some new friends here in the boston area, as well as people from all over the world. I am also looking for someone that I can get closer to, someone who i can spend more time with, hug close, make out with, snuggle, wrestle, and ********. I am quite a romantic, love to do things for the people close to me. I find myself excited by the prospect of getting to know new people, and know that someday, seeing as the world is such a big place, that I will find the right person for me.
I went through a breakup last October and it was one of the hardest things for me, but I have survived it, and have pretty much let it go. I'll always remember that person, the good memories will never die, and the bad ones will fade with time.
So basically open to meeting anyone, like the idea of actually meeting some of the people I come in contact with, both local folks as well as people from all over. Want to do a lot of traveling in my life, so would be awesome to make new friends and then get a chance to meet them as time goes by, so penpals are encouraged to write.
As far as something more intimate, I am trying to keep the door fairly open on this one... I would like to find someone with some of the same interests as myself, but I am open to someone with different interests that can possibly teach me about something new.
