Thanks to all the wonderful people over at the Random Gifting Thread (and event variations thereof) for the fun conversations, general upbeat attitude, and, of course, the lovely donations!
My name's Liz, not Cassandra. I TRICKED YOU GOOD.
I'm a very lazy person.
I'm so lazy that I'm too lazy to write anything else about myself.
...Okay, I'm not really THAT lazy. But I'm getting there.
I was born in 1987. That's my cop-out way of telling you my age, so that I don't have to come change it every time I have a birthday. I'm from Connecticut, USA, and spent the 2007-2008 school year studying abroad in Osaka, Japan through an exchange program with my college in Massachusetts, USA. Confused yet? Yeah, me too...
I was a Japanese major, but I graduated in September 2009, worked as a temp for a year at an insurance company, which had nothing to do whatsoever with Japan, and am now unemployed, much to my annoyance. Life's a funny thing.
I call myself a writer, but I hardly ever write. I'm such a perfectionist that I spend months at a time brainstorming before I actually put any words down. Hence, my updates are sporadic at best.
If I had to describe myself in a sentence:
It takes me 100 words to say what most people can say in 10.
