We Welcome You
By we I mean me. And me as in I. And who am I? I am whoever you want me to be, if I, in fact, am indeed whoever I say I am or someday hope to be. And someday I hope to be me, genuinely speaking that that me is I and I continue to be me for who I am. Of course, in point of truth, the I that is me can also be the me that is we for in reality we all boil down to be just little me's and I's and as long as that fact holds true me will always be I and I will always be me and together I can become we and we can bring forth the me's of we's and create something that I me, and we all are proud of. Understand?
Don't worry. I didn't either. And yet that's what I live by. We are all our own people and yet we are all part of this world. So make yourself useful. Become a part of society but still stay true to yourself :]
My name is Rei and I want to be your friend
I'm into musical theatre No, I love musical theatre.
I haven't been in many plays but lemme tell you, I really adore it. I love meeting all the people and I love becoming the different characters. I always try to add a little touch to whoever I am so that they're different from everyone else's take on them. But it still is the same character, y'know?
My favourite musical that I've been in is probably Alice in Wonderland. I love the story. The characters are fun, and also, I got a great part. I was the Queen of Hearts, and I'll say she's a fun person to play. I also loved that show because it had one of the best casts I've ever known. I'll tell the truth, I haven't known many casts. But still, I don't think I'm gonna ever meet a better bunch of people.
I'm starting highschool this year and I'm very excited. I'm hoping to meet a larger range of people and I'm also hoping that there are going to be some more original folks to be friends with. Hopefully by highschool there are some more people who have found themselves and have ideas of who they wanna be. I don't care what they like or how they are. If someone's passionate about something, they're probably someone I wanna be friends with because there's a lot to learn from people that love something.
As for myself, I love a lot of things. Currently, I mainly enjoy musical theatre. I love to sing and act. Dancing can be fun if I'm not sleepy. And it's great to be around a bunch of people and not have to be nervous about dancing stupidly in front of them. I love being able to perform and have everyone look at me. But I also love being able to be part of a team and knowing that I'm not alone up there. I like how I can be confident that if something goes wrong, someone's gonna back me up.
I also really like foreign things and learning about people who do things differently than me. Of course I have to say I love Japan because I'm big on anime and manga. But I also like learning about Germany, Italy, Austria, France, England, Korea, China, Sweden, and Switzerland. I love all the other countries to be quite honest. When I'm older, I want to get married to someone I love and travel the world with them.
As for anime and manga...When I'm older I do want to write comics but I'm not sure what I wanna do for a living. I like to draw manga style. (it's easy) Hopefully someone can teach me to do other styles too in my art classes and such. I'm part of an anime club called ACE. It's mainly for anime fans that aren't college age yet. The people there are awesome and I love them.
I love to write. I'm working on a novel as of current, actually. I'm not very far into it but it's coming along. My favourite part of writing is character designing. I love to create crazy and funky characters that no one would expect and yet they fall into the stereotypical characters that make a good story. I like playing with histories and names to make the character eccentric. Even background characters need to be fully developed to make a good story. In the next year or two I want to organize a creative writing club where we don't go to talk about writing techniques rather than characters and plot twists. This could be fun, huh?
I like music. I sing and I play piano. I could say that I play viola but I'm not very skilled at it. I can read music fine but there's something about putting the bow to the instrument that I guess I just don't get. I prefer singing outside of a chorus because it allows you to sing loud and proud. And yet, chorus is fun too because again, you always have a lot of people to fall back on.
As for animals, I love them. I was a vegetarian for awhile, but I started getting really sick so I had to quit. Though, I do plan on going back to vegetarianism when I'm all done growing. Hopefully starburst will also be vegetarian friendly by that time. I like all kinds of animals. Pandas are probably my favourite. I also love foxes, wolves, lesser pandas, felines, and platypuses. C:
Television... I like family guy. I like how it starts off as something and becomes something entirely different. I watch a lot of comedic detective shows. Burn Notice and Psych are awesome shows that I just recently got into. I also like Cake Boss because it is clearly superior to Ace of Cakes. I like watching the show Persons Unknown because it's interesting. I watch a lot of anime. Detective Conan is an awesome anime. I don't care what you say. One of the best shows in the world is probably Doctor Who. Matt Smith is wonderful, just saying. I've only seen the new ones but I do plan on watching the older ones if someone could give me a place to find them...?
So now that I've reached a third page of word talking about myself, I see it as a place to stop. I've said enough. But I wanna hear about you now. Don't be afraid to message me 'cause I love to meet new people.
