About
I'm Canas Renvall, wanna learn about me? Good. XDMy name is Connor, and I was born on July 27, 1992. Putting that instead of my age brecause I'd have to change my age every year, something I would forget (friend of mine told me that, so I changed it.
I also love video games as a whole. In fact, I have a crapload of systems that I love all of. I'll list them all and my favorite game for each one... and then my favorite game of all time!
Super Nintendo: Tie between Super Mario All-Stars, Super Metroid and Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. All three are really good...
Sega Genesis: Earthworm Jim/Earthworm Jim 2. Funniest character in a video game I know.
ColecoVision: Donkey Kong. C'mon, it's still fun.
Game Boy: Pokemon (any of the compatible ones). I love Pokemon. Looooooove.
Game Boy Color: Super Mario Bros. Deluxe. I could play that for so long, because of both the original SMB on it and the original Japanese SMB2.
Game Boy Advance/GBA SP: Tie between the Golden Sun series and the Fire Emblem series. Two amazing RPG franchises, each series a different brand of RPG but still the same thing: awesome.
Nintendo DS: Tie between Final Fantasy III, Meteos, and Resident Evil: Deadly Silence. FFIII = Sweet RPG, Meteos = sweet puzzler and RE: DS = ...Well, Resident Evil. Survival horror. Love it!
PSP: Lumines/Lumines 2. I could play this groovin' musical puzzler series until my hands withered and died.
Playstation: Final Fantasy VII. Did you have to guess on this? I'd hope not...
Nintendo 64: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Let's just say you're going to see this game again later on down the list.
Playstation 2: Tie between the Ratchet and Clank series and the Kingdom Hearts series. Ratchet and Clank is a near-perfect platformer/shooter and Kingdom Hearts is a sweet blend of Disney and Square-Enix. Great stuff...
Nintendo Gamecube: REmake (Resident Evil Remake). Scary as hell, beautiful as hell, forces you to survive in your own little hell! Can it be better? Not much.
Wii: Super Mario Galaxy. You could really consider this the sequel to Super Mario 64 and then some. A lot of then some. Trust me, that's a huge compliment.
Xbox 360: Tie between Gears of War, Dead Rising, and Rock Band. Gears of War is like a "holy crap that's awesome I love it" game. Dead Rising is a really fun open-ended zombie murder-'em-up. Rock Band is a flippin' amazing music game. Of course, I have yet to play other games for it that have gotten major good reviews, so I'll remember to update when I get the chance.
And now, the moment you've all been waiting for!
Favorite Game of All Time
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
This game is just downright the best, no questions asked. Everything about it is just jaw-dropping. Even now, I can't believe how amazing this game is. The graphics when it came out were way, way ahead of any of the previous N64 titles. Today, they're still not bad by any means.
This game practically invented the third-person RPG while perfecting it at the same time, putting all to come after it to shame. Quick note: third-person RPG is like Kingdom Hearts, not something like FFVII. The game had, and still has, an ungodly level design that feels great at some times. Others will have you tearing your hair out, but in a good way. (Water Temple. 'Nuff said. I've played it who knows how many times and I still have trouble with that damned place.) Some places are, even with not the best graphics now, actually scary. Bottom of the Well and the Shadow Temple.. I honestly hate going to those two places. They're just... freaky. And the ReDeads... *shudder*
All in all, I feel blessed to own this game. So if you haven't played it, it's like... well, it's just impossible. You're impossible if you haven't played it. So there you have it! I <3 that game!!
And I <3 RE as well, the series is my second favorite only to Ocarina of Time. But enough of that. I think I explained myself enough here. Thanks for reading!
