My name is Amanda, but my friends called me Awai or Awai-chan. It's a nickname I gained in middle school and has stuck to me ever since. I'm 20 years-old and my birthday is March 8. I'm a junior in university and I'm a Art/Art education major, and I would like to minor in either History or Literature.

I live with my mom and her boyfriend so that school is more affordable, haha. I have a wonderful boyfriend, Anthony, and we will have been dating for 2 years this October.

I'm a cosplayer; I attend MechaCon (New Orleans, LA) and Louisianime regularly, and I'm attending Anime Expo for the first time this year! I'm very excited for that.

I'm from Louisiana, and I grew up around New Orleans, which is my favorite city to this day. I love it for its uniqueness; I admire the art you view around every street corner of the French Quarter that has been around for centuries. The culture you see is just unreal. There really is no other city like it and I'm glad to call it home. Even moving away from it when I was little I was really sad to go, but I still call it home because it's the only place that has ever really felt like it.

I enjoy video games, movies, music, art (duh), day dreaming, being with my family and friends, and I love my pets Teagan and Reila. They are my baby girls!

I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.
I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.
I am the person who is afraid of telling his loving Christian parents he loves another male.
