I wasn't good at French. I wished we could have taken another language: Japanese for example. I always wanted to learn Japanese ats chool.^^ Oh, Lousiana... I see.^^

At 5th Grade (age 10/11) I had to take english classes, then at seventh grade you could choose between French and Latin. I guess today there are more languages you could choose from at that age. After that at eighth or nineth grade there were a lot of languages to choose from and I tried Russian, but it was too difficult for me. At 11th grade I chose Spanish as third foreign language, but then quit school. So I had English and French, but I hated French.

Oh, that's a hard one. I love some: I love 99 Luftballons (99 Red Ballons), Fragezeichen (Questionmark), Leuchtturm (Lighttower) by Nena, then Ich will Spaß (I wanna have some fun) by Markus and the wonderfully songs of Wir sind Helden (We are Heroes). There my favs are Echolot and Ein Elephant für Dich (An Elephant for you).
