About
Although I don't spend a lot of time on Gaia like I used to it still holds a special place in my heart. So feel free to drop me a comment or two, I'm sure to start up a conversation.

Do you have Netflix? Whenever I watch anything lately it seems to be on there. I tried watching Murdoch Mysteries the other day, it was pretty great. I enjoy those kind of historical detective shows once in a while.
I found myself cracking up when I watched the English dub of the Yokai Watch anime. It's almost like laughing at the negative traits of humans in a lighthearted way since that's what most of the yokai represent in someway or another. If you are interested definetly watch this episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vw-uSwTEIqQ It's pretty funny!
(Sorry for the wall of text) emo
Yeeaaaah... The elder scrolls series have drained my life force to a dangerous low.. I think I should uninstall all the elder scroll games I have and lock away the CDs & uninstall Steam. If I added up all the hours I wasted on games I would probably start sobbing in the corner.
I'm sorry to hear about all the negative stuff that happened at your former place of employment. I hope the interview goes/ went well and you get an even better job than the one you left behind. Just remain calm and confident, you have the talent and the drive! (Just try not to come across as smug... That's happened to me a couple of times on interviews, I get too fired up and seem too obnoxiously cocky. XD)
I can recall the time I left the bakery I worked at, I was excited to have been hired full-time by an Amazon fufillment center and I put my 2 weeks notice in... But then when I went in for my first day at Amazon they terminated my employment before I ever had even worked my first day.... What the hell?! I sent some e-mails to the HR department, but they didn't seem to care.. It was really a terrible time. It just proves that some companies don't care who they burn, they have no heart.
Sometimes things seem hopeless but opportunity is hiding all around. Look at things from all angles, there's got to be something.
I kinda became obsessed with collecting rocks in the past few years so I went into a couple of those new age shops. I don't claim to believe in all the symbolism, but I once bought this one rock, it was small piece of aragonite... That stone must have either been cursed or irradiated because whenever I touched the stone it made me feel really bad.. I asked my brother and sister to touch it to see if they experienced anything and sure enough they had a negative reaction to it... It was really kind of creepy. I wound up leaving that rock on a bridge somewhere.
I also went to a Fossil & Gem convention one year and it completely muted my desire collect rocks... Once I saw swarms of fiendish rockhounds restlessly shifting from one vendor to the next looking for gems I felt kind of wierded out. Their restelessness and obsessivness over gems was unnatural... It was almost like they had the spirit of Gollum from Lord of the Rings.
Have you played or watched Yokai Watch? It's actually a pretty funny series. There is this one Yokai in the game by the name Babblong who inspirits people and makes them yak and yak, talking on and on... I think that yokai is my spirit animal because I am always blabbing endlessly online. xD
Yeah, I tried going on facebook and tried interacting with the modding community on Oblivion Nexus and it all just kinda made me feel depressed and left me missing Gaia. Gaia is great because people are more fun and easy going here, even when things get heated in forums it's not as serious or mean-spirited as other websites. This is one of the only few social websites I can visit and have a positive experience on. I logged on here a few days ago after a long absence and noticed that some of the avatars of the people on my friendlist had changed and I dropped them a line on their profiles.
I know what you mean with the extra free time. I just finished a mod for Oblivion that was my soul-obsession for the last 4 monthes... I had been ignoring my own reality and using the modding project as my escape, but now that it's all over I have to pick up pieces and make something of my life. I have a lot of creative ideas I have to put into action, I just need to breakaway from my videogame addiciton.
I'm no longer a baker, now I am cashier and I am actually a lot happier. The super market bakery wasn't much fun when I look back on it. Are you still baking these days?
I went to a renaissance fair yesterday, it was pretty cool. I bought a magic wand from one of the stalls but when I bought it the ladies who ran the shop gave me a strange look. When I looked up the variety of wood the wand was made of it apparently had some symbolism to do with feminine energies... I guess that would explain the strange look I got. xD
