The Kingdom was known as Sietrafall and had only recently come to it's independence from a much larger alliance. A gift was given from the neighboring countries to welcome them to their isolated fate, and a means to slightly jeer at such a small establishment attempting to stand out. At the base of the statue was a wee dragon, reaching out with a longing in it's eyes. It represented the people...But it was so much more.

A man, a wife, and their insatiable children wished for wealth at the towns altar which housed this gift. Constantly praying for things wanted and not needed, so much so... to the point where each time they approached the statue, the base became cracked and disheveled. When their prayers were not answered, they felt jaded and decided to take their desires past the limits of the township... It was all so sudden-- and in the dead of night-- the Kingdom would find itself in ruin.

Morning broke, and the kingdom discovered that the eggs had vanished from the altar. The truth behind the eggs were that they were of a solid gold, silver and copper denomination. Sietrafall's wealth was on display in more ways than one, and all was lost. The family had been blamed for taking the eggs, to which they denied, and found themselves in the middle of a witch hunt. The mother dragoness statue as time went on was still prayed to for small things during the harsh times-- yet wishes became unfulfilled; tears came from the statue as the eggs did not reappear. Soon, the Kingdom of Sietrafall would come into poverty and consider begging to attach themselves to a countryside again.

The unnamed would appear during this time, with three brothers-- and this statue, now fully breathing, would stop it's weeping. They did however, smell of human hands, and the mother statue would become hot with fury; this gift from allied areas was no gift to the people at all-- but a warning of greed.

This town is no more. Nor the countryside...
No one speaks of the unnamed, and only shelters him for fear of the mother dragon.
