About
]A silly little girl,
Saying silly little words
In a silly little voice
They’re meaningless, if you haven’t already noticed
So just turn the other way,
It’s always best to just ignore
A silly little girl
With the long hair hiding her face
She doesn’t know the difference,
Between a truth
And a lie
It’s best to just ignore her,
‘Else you’ll die.
She cries no tears,
At least not that you can see
No, none – nothing at all
She feels nothing,
Fears nothing
‘Cept the final fall
No makeup for her,
There’s nothing to hide
No beauty disguise
She won’t break, she won’t bend
Not anymore
Too stubborn, yes –
To admit her demise.
She makes herself bleed
In the smallest of ways
Pulls out her hair, muttering
“Nothing else is beautiful,
So make it go away”
She doesn’t want love, she doesn’t want sex
She just sits there and daydreams
Of something, never exists
And at the end of the day,
She waves goodbye to her friends
And turns her back with her head held high
To start the journey home,
She turned up the music
And walks with a bounce
Smiling and laughing
For she is never alone
Her mind is there, though it is slipping
It is all she has left unto death do they part.
