The Nutshell that is me

I'm an aspiring author who loves watching movies and going shopping. I square dance. I take lots of pictures of nature and family members. I genuinely and honestly like myself as I am. I have a wonderful husband, and I couldn't be happier to have found the love of my life. I know not everyone gets to be so lucky.

The TV show Dexter rocks my socks off.

I'm dork enough to be a huge super special awesome fan of Yugioh: The Abridged Series created by Little Kuriboh.

My two favorite movies are Stardust and Doomsday. Go ahead, I double dog dare you to figure that one out. xD

Avatar is also a new favorite of mine.

The old TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer has become my new obsession.

Seriously, I watch that a lot.

I'm okay now but thank you for checking up on me.

I finally got some letters from Alex.
2 in the same day and immediately, i wrote him several in return.
The other day i printed out at least 6 sheets of lyrics from his favorite irish drinking songs as he requested.

I miss him dearly
and i love him always
but now that my wait is almost over
i'm almost exhausted by how soon my next wait is approaching.
ugh.
just get hereeeeee. blaugh

I'm proud of him smile And that's a great reward for both of you! Lol, i wish girlfriend love trumps mom love, in my situation. :p i sent Alex a letter last week that ended with "You know, you should tell me if you ever want to call me instead of your mom. I would totally be down for that."
I guess my first letter came at such an awkward time (like a Monday) that he couldn't write back until this Sunday (today!) so he better be writing me to right now. blaugh

What are you doing today? I wonder if tinychat is an option. I'm going to be cleaning and working on homework today so tonight, i could use a cool down if you're up for it. smile
fizzyoctopus Report | 07/23/2011 12:59 am: I don't have a job.. I'd like one but now that i'm going to school overtime, i don't see the scheduling working out at all. The algebra class never started, however, so that's working in my favor. It took too much scheduling and planning to go to both colleges so i'll be waiting until January for their Winter-Spring semester. But anyways, i still have to go to jury duty- i just have to go for one day on my one week break. I guess that's not too awful..
I don't feel like a letter will come this week. I've written at least a week and a half's worth of letters now but there's only been one Sunday in that time and he probably didn't get my first letter in that time. so maybe it'll come next week. But it's pretty nice to know that he's at least getting my letters.
We got to be connected somehow.

Also, his mom is doing much better at relaying messages. So even if he only has time to write one letter and it happens to go to his mom, i'll get the same sort of information.

Even if i want my OWN letter. blaugh

I try to take things one day at a time, then I start fantasizing about the future with my boyfriend and all the fun times we'll have together, and it dawns on me that he won't be there 90% of the time. >:I Its ******** stupid! I'm sorry that it was one of the tougher days for you. :[ Its that way for me, too. I've been sending letters to Keithen almost every day and I FINALLY got one from him this morning. It was honestly a huge let down. I write him long letters and I pour my heart out in all of them, and I got a louzy short one with zero emotion in it at all in return. :[ I'm so sad right now. I know I shouldn't be taking it personaly because he probably has not recieved my heartfelt stuff yet...but still...I got my hopes up for what feels like nothing.
