Well, you might need it at school in case you do stuff after school and it gets canceled or something like that. Try telling him that. And if he brings up the whole "WELL USE THE OFFICE PHONE" thing, tell him that it will more than likely be full of people and it would take like 15 or 20 minutes just to be able to get to use the phone, because that's how it was at my school

It has really good coverage in 94% of places, decent coverage in 4%, meh coverage in 1.5%, and bad or no coverage in the last 0.5%. But that's just my opinion.
