My darling, may I tell you, of an important story One that holds a great importance to something deep in me It happened under a half moon about three night ago No matter how I try the memory just will not go
I walked and wander in a daze and lost that unclear night Every little sound I heart, to me, just caused a fright I hoped and prayed I'd find my way to you sometime soon If I had stayed lost it would have surely meant my doom
From the cover of a tree I spied a shadow follow me I statled and paniced so much I caused the animals to fuss and once I ran away from the shape, me, it surely found Not knowing what to do my eyes did search the ground I saw a glint of steel and handle meaning only a knife I then preceded to plunge it foreward hoping then, to kill my persurer whom I did not know was really ill
she'd heard my steps and followed me in hope I'd give her help only to find that this stranger recklessly gave death
How was I to know that she had only wanted me to give her help and then instead I gave eternity of pain and suffering as she was surely sent to hell for that is the only place that anyone could be if they were sent there by the hands of me
I wandered lost and shame for hours not knowing what to do in the end I settled on coming to find you when I wandered in that nigt I was so greatly strained I couldn't believe the events that were so different from the day
So now I tell you of the horror of that half moon night and now I must forever be out of your sight Before you are tainted with the blood of my crime I will take my life and pray you recover in time I will never see you as I bond for hell but I wish an eternal peace shed no tears for the dead
