Well I am mainly on Gaia, after about four years of having time off, to role play. I love to write and to determine how my characters grow and adapt to situations. I started out just writing short stories and novella's based around the lighter side of real life. But when I turned sixteen I noticed that my tastes changed, and that the more dark supernatural and fantasy genre peaked my interests.
On Gaiaonline specifically I started to learn DnD 3.5 and 4th edition RPing, and have progressed into other table top RPG's online. L5R is my new favorite, along with some Pathfinder, Deadlands and Hunter.
I've also spent some time wandering from guild to guild, sometimes loving the experience and more times than not being disappointed. So many of the guilds are dying, and its a shame. But I believe its caused by Gaia's shift from a more text based site, into games and a more interactive environment.
I remember when there were only about three or four games, like Word, Jigsaw and Blackjack. I remember spending months collecting tickets to buy an item from Prize and Joy. I remember checking out Towns during one of the first Halloween events, and trying to rescue Santa from the Zurg (aliens, I might not remember the name correctly).
So much has happened, and yet I remain. I've changed faces often, but I still enjoy Gaiaonline as a hang out among friends.
