I seem to be making people curious about what my username means. I'd might as well tell everyone already:

Back when I registered in 2004, I was searching for a pen name, for I wanted to be a writer but keep my identity hidden.
I decided my first name would be Brooke; my last name would be Flowerchild.

Since my first short story with that pen name was rather long, I figured "Babbling Brooke" would be a decent nickname.

I would have liked to have registered as "Babbling Brooke Flowerchild," but that would have been way too cumbersome. Thus, I shortened it to BBFC.

I had more info written here, but I decided to remove it. It was mostly me complaining and dwelling on things that irritate me.

I've decided that my New Year's resolution is to quit complaining.
