Like I said, I would eat raw food, but I struggle with GI issues already (eating mostly meat helps), and I don't want to risk eating store bought meats raw, production conditions just aren't good enough.
I got some more research on that. Turns out the Inuits eat most of their meats almost raw. Vitamin C is easily destroyed during cooking. f I had enough money to buy whole animals from a trusted source and butcher them myself I would be prepared to eat the meat raw or at least very close to it. However I do not trust commercial meat to be as clean as needed, so the vitamin C levels in the meat would be reduced. This makes me think that pasteurized juice may not be nearly as healthy as it is meant to be since the vit C is mostly denatured.
