Kids have no idea what the meaning of hard work is these days emotion_facepalm
It's like when I'm at work, there is always cleaning that needs to be done, but all the girls just sit on their asses and text, so I'm always doing it emotion_donotwant

I'm going back to school this fall, and I'm probably going to kill myself because I'm trying to get in the Diagnostic Ultrasound program, but I'm soooooooo bad at science it isn't even funny emotion_facepalm
Ughhhhh....I don't want high temperatures. I'm from rainy ville where it's never more than 50 degrees. Hot temperatures kill me crying crying
That's unfortunate. Where in Florida will you be?
And yeah.......I was paranoid the whole time I was there gonk I think I have the biggest snake phobia in the world. I can't even look at a picture of one without freaking out and crying crying

Well, what I'm at is the fact that kids here (in my area) complain that they have too many classes, too much homework, that tests and finals are too hard, yada yada. Kids here take a maximum of 8 classes. I had 22 in Canada, and 31 in Scotland. And those are pretty typical for the rest of the world. Needless to say, we had more homework, more tests, more finals, and the material was harder on top of it all. So whenever I hear kids complaining about their "huge class load" I want to smack them in their goddamn spoiled face mad mad mad
Ugh, that was my little rant of the day.
I've heard Boston is quite pretty as well as New Hampshire. I'm very concerned about how humid it might be though gonk
We rarely have humidity here so when we do actually get/feel it, it really wears us out gonk
Plus, I'm going to be looking all hoity toity for the wedding so I really don't want to be all sticky emotion_donotwant
I had fun when I was in Florida...but it's super humid there too crying

I'm really annoyed by American students though. Spoiled brats complain about everything when they have it easier than the rest of the world by far emotion_eyebrow

I'll actually be flying out to Boston in a little over a week, then driving up to New Hampshire for my brother's wedding. It'll be my first trip to the East Coast where I actually venture out of the airport rofl rofl rofl

Yep. My family is still rather new to North America. My dad is first generation American on his side. His dad is from Scotland and his mum is a Canadian Scot. So most of my relatives from his side either still reside in Scotland or have flocked into Canada. I learned Scottish Gaelic and French from them (Montreal is a French speaking territory). And them my mum's side is Ashkenazim (Jewish) so they all speak Hebrew and the reeeeally old ones also speak Lithuanian and Russian. The lucky ones managed to escape Nazi controlled Europe and made it to the states during WWII. The unlucky ones died in concentration camps. After a decade or so, many of them then flocked over to Israel. So my family is all over the place. I spent a lot of my youth in Scotland and developed quite an accent over there, but now I'm back in the states, it only ever comes out if I'm talking to someone from the British Isles lol
Family of rednecks eh? What state? And Spanish is a good language to learn. You'd be amazed how much French and Italian you could decipher with Spanish lol
I suppose it's nice to be able to pick up languages easily...but there are better talents out there. I rather enjoy it though when French speakers come into my workplace and talk as if no one can understand them emotion_dowant
