Thank you for the compliment! Would it surprise you to know that this is my first orange outfit? And yes, it wasn't so easy to coordinate , but I really wanted to use the DC Monarch Gown, and the Stygian Sham item was gifted to me so I figured, why not try? I'm glad to know that you like my avie!

Hah, it's ok, I logged off too~
Reddit has entire boards upon boards of forum threads and fanthreads and anime meta talk~
It's like early , geeky gaia anime forums before it became moer avi centric, then greed centric~
And no avatars on Reddit~
TinierMe was amazing. Only problem was that you had to grind a lot as a free user, but once you grinded a little did some events, did FB gifts it netted you a good amount of nice items. I traded my way up from Free / nonpaying items into trades for the cash items that you got from their version of RIGS, the Gachas . And I eventually managed to get some Animated items (Astra stuff kinda' but way cooler ) ~

Well, I'm glad you're doing your best to face it. That's probably the best thing for it (although I'm not one to dismiss pharmacological treatments, when there's a need). I sometimes worry that a given thread/post I'm considering is gonna be stupid, but I've found that even when it is, the worst that happens is people just ignore it. I can live with that. lol

Heh. I guess I might be biased, but I always thought that even the GCD "prommies" were a more harmless breed than those you'd find on the rest of the site. But, I suppose there's nothing like a closed-off, impenetrable cliquish community to turn off newcomers... Unfortunately, that kind of thing can happen in pretty much any environment. My solution on Gaia is generally to barge in and start chatting it up as if I belong there already. xd Wish I felt as comfortable doing that in person as I do online, though.

Cool. I've never understood why people find the GCD "intimidating," though. It's been my home forum for as long as I can remember, and is one of the least intimidating areas of the site, in my experience. x_x

Or not , but who knows, but I'll REALLY miss avatar sites and IMVU is a bigger money pit than Gaia , I have no clue how they survive~
Do you think gaia might survive? What if someone reports the business activities or something? ~

I mean, the worst thing is, the only girl who I've ever truly loved, lives in Kuwait ~
We met on Gaia , and god, I wanted to be with her and she me, but it sucked, because we could never be~
It was something we were forced to face and that hurt, so I know what it feels like~
I clung to TinierMe, it was my happiest Avi site ever , but they went under too~
All I really have left is Gaia and frankly, it sucks knowing that unless the CEO changes his mind, it's going to die~
Unless people really have that much money~

Yeah, but it'll suck in the end~
Gaia has maybe a year left, at best~
Maybe a year and a half I'd say, but still, I've been on Gaia for mainly the avis to be honest~

I used to be a CB Reg and friends with a lot of the old regs~
It was nice, and I really hope gaia changes, because a part of me wants gaia to live on forever, but at the same time I know better with this business model~
Lets say staff / board members cared about the site, they'd remove the ceo because it's bad business practice~
Yeah, I guess I'm scared a bit to get into the GCD again because I don't want to lose the site and friends I might make~
In the past I was more eager to do so because Gaia was bustling and booming~

I just like being in GCD , had nothing else to contribute that wouldn't seem redundant~
I've been around since '06 and always been loafing around CB with a few GCD years~
And it helped me complete an achievement~ ^//^
