Stuff I'm Wearing

Stuff I Want or Wanted and Forgot to Take off the List

Ring Ideas not yet fully formed (well, less fully formed - few of the ones even to the right are anywhere near formed)

Fan
(effect) Stamina and Health regeneration boosts, but ONLY to kneeling regen. Or maybe just one of them. If both, neither one as good as HH or Divinity. If only one, the rates could be higher, but only for kneeling regen (and they wouldn't stack, although you could use Divinity for the non-kneeling, and then still have this for the kneeling regen, for example).
(with rage) Rage would increase the regen rates, and also would increase the AoE from just you to those around you.
(animation) a fan fanning you, from a small fan like the Kokeshi's have to large palm fronds

Rapier and Dagger
(effect) Damage and Reflection. You do less damage than Broadsword and Buckler - closer to Mantis level damage - but the Reflection boost lasts for the entire cooldown period (so theoretically, you could keep it up as long as you were fighting)
(costs) 4-5 stamina, 4 second cooldown
(rage) Simply more damage, akin to Mantis'.

Crossbow
(effect) Damage. Extreme range.
(costs) 3-4 stamina, 3 seconds cooldown
(rage ranks)
RR1 - 60 damage (average)
RR2 - 80 " "
RR3 - 100 " "
RR4 - 130 " "
(hmm, hard to make this level with Bow or Rays without making it overpower the other)

Lasso
Knockback TOWARDS you. Single target. Extreme range. Rather good knockback. Higher rage means a moment or so of sleep (if sleep becomes something a bit more useful) or maybe Fear/Root kind of combo (can't attack you, but doesn't run away). Would be useful with advanced AI's that actually stay away and snipe at you, or just for luring things in quickly.

Frying Pan
Bash the animated, fry an egg. Ring heals a less than Diagnose level of healing while also giving a Mantis level of damage. Cooldown about 5 seconds, stamina 5-6? Rage would increase both damage and healing, but slower than if it were only healing one thing. (would go great with Pot Lid razz )

Fog Machine
Reduces animated Accuracy (and maybe Dodge) for a screenwide AoE.

Nice ring ideas. Please call the frying pan one "the Frying Pan of Doom". xd It's from a book series by Patricia Wrede.

Hello there I finally got up the pointless courage to say how much I admire your wit and composure when it comes to dealing with other people. You seem really dedicated to zOMG and understand the schematics of the whole operation which is really quite impressive ^-^;;
I'm not sure why but I've wanted to comment you for the longest time.. sweatdrop

p.s. I love your idea for the adrenaline fix!

I'm surprised you kept your cool while trying to point out the flaws of that seemingly brainless oaf in that one z!f board.
I commend you. smile

Stored Ring Ideas (so I can find them again)

Tidal Wave: Wash those animated right where you want them.
(effect) Area of Effect Knockback. Small range. Instead of normal knockback, like Dervish, which knocks every animated away from the player, scattering them all, this would work differently. It would knock the original target away from the player like usual (sort of like Bump). Then, it would knock all the other animated in its AoE toward that spot (sweeping them all together for attacks).
(damage) 30 at rr1, with small increases (or maybe just no damage)
(costs) 4-6 stamina, cooldown of 3 seconds
(with rage) Higher rage ranks would have larger AoE's, and probably a minor debuff after awhile

Adrenaline [Fix]
(effect) Allies only, no AoE (like Sweetheart) Stamina regneration buff (stronger [starting with maybe 5 stamina regen standing], but shorter lived than Divinity 60 seconds maybe)
(costs) 5-6 stamina, cooldown of 15 seconds

Diagnose [Fix]
(effect) AoE Healing. Higher rage ranks would add a short lived Persistent Armor, Willpower Buff, or Health regen buff (don't know which would work best)
(costs) same as Diagnose before, maybe a little higher costs, if the short lived buffs are really good

OR
(effect) AoE Healing and debuff removal. Some debuffs may be harder to remove than others (stuff like Bleed would be the easiest, then the other debuffs - maybe crowd control would have a small chance of being removed), and all have a chance of not getting removed. Higher rage ranks decrease the chances of debuffs not getting removed.

(etc.) And with that we might save the Medic ringset. Medics are assumed to be the best crew members for short lived buff strategy, since they are the ones monitoring crew panels and such the most. By making Diagnose actually have a major advantage over Bandage or Wish, and one that requires strategy to use best, hopefully we'd balance the healing rings. Adrenaline really needs a boost, and it's whole concept is sort of flawed to begin with (dodge debuffs, at least at the level it gives, aren't really effective, or even something you'd really see as important, given the enemies you're up against).

Javelin: an ethereal thrown spear, basically (but worded much cooler than that)
(effect) Medium ranged attack ring, no debuffs or other effects, and no AoE
(costs) 3-4 stamina, cooldown of 2 seconds
(animation) a flying javelin (from a tiny roman looking one to a lance)
(rage ranks)
RR1: 90
RR2: 120
RR3: 150
RR4: 210

Chainmail: A suit of ethereal chainmail, providing a old school defense against incoming damage.
(effect) 20-30% passive Persistent armor, self only
(costs) it's passive

Tea
(effect) Very mall increase to max stamina, for 5 minutes (does not fill in stamina - it's more like Sweetheart than Meat). Self and allies, full crew. Does not stack.
(costs) 11-12 stamina, cooldown of 1 minute

Some minievent ideas

All areas: Great Fluff Rush
- All fluffs on each map move towards Barton Town (Bassken grass and carrion fluffs march south to the gate, cherry fluffs in Zen Gardens march east, etc. - ones in further areas move through multiple maps). Fluffs are passive unless attacked (in which case most attack as a mob, quickly wiping out their enemies - cherry fluffs might have something slightly different).
- Players attempt to wipe out as many fluffs as possible before they escape the map. Fluffs that survive move on to the next map (which, if it's not Barton, gets a second event warning with the newly incoming fluffs).
- Mr. Fluff appears in Barton, with as many fluffs as are left over from the other hunts (Barton gets a minievent warning as the rushing fluffs start, so people there could fan out to the other maps to begin fighting the fluffs then).

Zen Gardens: Kokeshi doll march
- Kat's Kokeshi doll marches out of her shrine with a guard of many Kokeshi collectibles. Collectibles can heal Kat's Kokeshi doll.
- They aggressively will attack players. Players who attack them will trigger hate from any cherry fluffs in the area.
- The dolls march around until Kat's Kokeshi doll is defeated.

Gold Beach: Duneslam's Invasion
- Duneslam attacks with a similar strategy as Buzzkill.
- May overshadow Landshark too much, just in the size of Duneslam, and the same general sense of surprise.

... more ideas to come?

Ring ideas (cont.)

Soap
(effect) Debuff removal.
(costs) 4-5 stamina, 5 second cooldown
(with rage) AoE's a small bit. Less chance of not working.

Propaganda
(effect) Willpower Debuff
(costs) 6-7 stamina, 7 second cooldown
(with rage) Longer lasting debuff. Some chance of Fear.

Broadsword and Buckler
(effect) Damage and Deflection. Every time you used it, you'd do damage (about Slash or Bump levels of damage, 1 vs. 1 only) and would get a very short lasting bonus to your deflection (about the same amount as Pot Lid).
(costs) 4-5 stamina, 5 second cooldown
(with rage)
RR1 -> 80-120 Damage (100 Damage) 1 second of increased Deflection
RR2 -> 100-160 Damage (130 Damage) 2 seconds of deflection
RR3 -> 130-190 Damage (160 Damage) 3 seconds of deflection
RR4 -> 170-250 Damage (210 Damage) 4 seconds of deflection

(misc. ring set mechanics ideas)
- Every attack used while wearing the ring set has a chance of causing Fear (or Root, or Sleep, or extra Knockback, depending on what would fit best with the set theme).

- Knight ring set: Broadsword and Buckler, Chainmail, Javelin, and some other ring (Iron Will would go here - many of the already existent rings could go here)
