About
A poem by Kyle Lamb who writes circles around you emo wannabe's
"And on the summer night of years past my heart was replaced by the metallic rhythm of a faux soul that wieghed down instead of lifted up.
My death was silent, a whisper if anything which went unnoticed and all was left was this corpse animated by a hollow will.
I'm dead and still I write my own eulogy telling everyone not what made me great but why I was so pathetic in this past life.
What person would do such a mad thing?
Though this man does not post it in the news or let it be announced it is just in a notebook, silent and collected.
He does not want a funeral he only wants peace to hum on without being disrupted and he curses the wretches who struck him down.
May a soft wind blow and you'll know it's my soul for it will kiss your cheek and say in a soft loving whisper, 'I miss you'"
This soul hasn't sipped from your happiness in so long
This smile hasn't seen the light of day since you stopped smiling at me
This heart hasn't stopped hurting since you told me, "I shouldn't love you"
This hand hasn't been held since I forced it into yours before you threw it back at me
This cheek hasn't been dry one night since you stopped kissing it
This lip hasn't touched any other girl except for you since I told you, "I love you"
This wrist hasn't been even scratched till the pain of your voice in my head became too much
This body hasn't stopped feeling cold since you last touched it by pushing it away
This girl hasn't stopped loving you.
