I am a revert :] I was raised as a Baptist (in Christianity)
I'm actually a bit new as well, took my Shahaddah less than 1 year ago. But i have been studying Islam for about 3 years now.

It doesn't bother me or anything. I don't mind using labels to refer to fashion, but I just hate it when people assume that they know your personality and everything you like just by the way you dress... ya know?
