If you liked "The Ribos Operation", just wait until you get to "The Androids of Tara". It's Prisoner of Zenda, Doctor Who style. It really is as good as everyone says it is. biggrin And Romana is really fun, isn't she? I love it when she and the Doctor start bickering.

You're actually watching classic Who in order? :O lol I try to watch old eps in roughly the right order, but there's no real season-long story except in a few cases, so it doesn't matter too much. I'm glad to have found the episode listings on the BBC website anyway, because I like things neat and orderly. smile

And yes, I LOVE the Big Finish audios. Buy as many as you can get your hands on, especially the eighth Doctor ones. Soooo good! Tom Baker recently agreed to work with BFP and has started recording audios that'll be released next year. Can't wait. XD

And that is exactly what I love about Doctor Who - yeah, the universe is big and scary, but there's so much out there it's worth the danger. And who knows, maybe you can help make things better. smile

I will definitely continue watching SG-1, then. smile But first I need to finish the classic Who I'm working on - the Key to Time arc, then some fifth and third Doctor stories, maybe some second Doctor as well. My list of TV shows to watch is getting longer and longer. sweatdrop I still need to finish Inuyasha and Case Closed/Detective Conan. Sorry, rambling. I tend to do that. Thank you, Doctor, for making me unable to stay on topic during a conversation... stare

Anyway... I think I'm gonna go and either play with photo manipulation or work on that crossover fanfic I told you about. Crossovers are cool. wink

Funny you'd mention SG-1. I just watched the first episode a few days ago and will probably be adding that show to my list of things to obsess over. lol But yeah, "The Almost People" was definitely better than "The Rebel Flesh", which was too Frankenstein for my taste. They eyeballs were rather Atraxi-like, come to think of it, but if it means something or if Moffat's just recycling creepy ideas is beyond me. That guy has the most convoluted mind of anyone I've ever known about. :S I've been told that just chatting with him over a drink is enough to give you a headache.

And spoilers for "A Good Man Goes to War"... sweet mother of Chaos, I'm going to be avoiding the whole internet for the next week. One of my friends who lives in Australia accidentally gave me a biggish spoiler when we chatted yesterday, because she's seen it and I haven't. I hate the fact that the US is a week behind the rest of the world, but at least I've got something awesome to do on my birthday. smile

XD It started out as a mainly Sherlock Holmes/War of the Worlds crossover, but then I added another of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's characters - Professor Challenger. I wrote a couple chapters and then abandoned it. Last September I discovered "Doctor Who", and really wanted to write an epic tenth Doctor fanfiction but couldn't think of anything epic enough. Then I recently discovered my abandoned Holmes story and thought "Ooh, Sherlock Holmes and Martians are epic! Let's put the Doctor in, too!" So I've been slowly typing up a couple chapters just to see how it goes.

If I finish it, I'll be posting it on fanfiction.net. smile
