Story: Artemis comes from an alternate universe where Green Arrow and Black Canary never dated and when Cupid showed up she became his partner and later his wife. She trained to follow in her parents' foot steps at a young age, though she was never "officially" part of the Arrow team. In her universe, Braniac attacked and the heroes were unable to stop him, she escaped through a portal her father's company had made. As far as she knows she is the only survivor of her world.

Personality: Normally she is happy and friendly, if a bit of a tomboy. She would put up with her mom's fussing and her adopted sister making her watch America's Next Top Model. Artemis was super focused on becoming a hero and never made any friends or took time for boys. She keeps her hair long because her mother and sister liked it that way, and she even let them call her "Missy" even though she felt it was too girly. Now that all that is gone she has hardened, mostly to protect herself from more pain and to hide how sad and hurt she truly is.
