My name is Aqutalion. I'm a software engineer, grad student and semi-professional (as in attempts to sell stuff and fails) artist. I'm a huge nerd. Most people think I'm either weird or boring or both, so be warned.
I like anime, especially when there are giant robots (and I mean real anime, not that poser dub s**t. Dubbed anime = fail, and I don't consider it real anime, nor do I consider dub-watching posers real anime fans), manga and RPG games. In fact, I've been collecting anime for longer than a lot of people on this site have been alive. I'm just about fluent in Japanese, and I like translating stuff and writing walkthroughs for japanese games.
I also squeal like a groupie whenever a documentary on quantum physics or astrophysics comes on. Black holes! Quarks! Oscilating neutrinos! Whee!

O1OO1OO1O1OO1111 Report | 05/14/2009 11:33 am: went to see dad, grave condition; broke down on way back, stuck in tiny town; took a full day just to get the part b/c they had to ship it in from town to town; still didn't work well but was able to get home; upon return a/c in apt was broken in Houston heat and humidity so had to "sleep" in 82 degrees; now can't pay for bills, hotel set me over limits; last night had to work on car from 7pm to 4:45am changing bushings on windows so I can roll them down finally to have air flow b/c air compressor in car is dangerously about to die which would lock up the engine so I have to leave it off; called back up to nursing home- dad's a little stronger but it could be any day and he's on brink of death in which case I need to go back through all this again to bury him but I have to and it's ok; can't sleep from the stress so can't think clearly; fun fun fun.
