Not exactly, the virus wants the smartest creature possible, therefore attacking humans. A cows brain will also rot quicker than a humans, dying within minutes of going into a coma, so the virus will just die.

Actually, zombies don't go after Cows. And plus it's not like I don't have canned food. We have a lot, my parents think 2012 is real, so we have like. Years of food and water. And we have enough guns, and ammo. If I do things right, I might not even encounter one zombie.

My house is refuge enough, I live in mountains, I could go up there. And there's plenty of cattle here, along with vegetation.
