Yes yes loose weight slowly is the best idea.
And for holidays, like I said, Indulge a little! Im not suggesting you eat till youre over stuffed. But let yourself have a little bit of pumpkin pie and a little bit of dressing. Everything in moderation is fine. You dont want to punish yourself by being healthy. yknow?

My other tips diet wise would simply be to try to switch from microwave foods to foods you cook. I used to have a nutritionist and this is the meal plan she suggested for me ( its maintence but there is only a slight difference for weight loss)
Breakfast: 1 Fruit ( Juice occasionally but prefferably fresh fruit, whatever fruit you want)
I cup of cereal, or two slices of toast, or a small muffin or two. Basically, some starch.
A condiment with 5-10 grams of fat Such as youknow a tbsp of peanut butter, a small amout of butter, almonds, etc
And 1 cup of milk
Lunch:
1 Serving fresh vegetables, A serving of something with protein, A cup of milk, a serving of starch ( Like bread for your sandwhich or a cup of rice or pasta), another serving of fruit, and some nuts or a little butter or something like that
Dinner:
Vegtables, Starch, Protein, Dairy and a fat.
I cant remember what the weight loss one was but I believe it was really no different from this. And you can split it throughout the day to keep you full. Like save the fruit from breakfast for an afternoon snack or youknow you get the point.
And on your break day treat yourself to something small so youre not completely deprived!
That was just a dieticians suggestion. It obviosly could be tweeked. But it makes sure you get all the nutrients you need and when your working out so much and trying to build muscle and lose weight you dont want to become vitamin defficiant because that can slow your body/weightloss down.

O AND AN EXTRA TIP. If you like coffee: drinking two to three cups a day with as little additives as you can boosts your metabolism by I believe 20%? Thats extra burning without doing anything at all!
Well ild say it all depends on how your body feels. If you're not sore you're not doing much. Your body will push farther than you think. However don't be so sore you can't function. When I was really pushing to tone up if I didn't feel that slight ache in my muscles the next day, I knew I needed to push harder. Even with cardiovascular you should really feel it. Wha
