Hi, I'm Ana. I like Terry Pratchett, Spider Robinson and Kurt Vonegut. I also love Maxfield Parish, Salvadore Dali and James C. Christensen.

Music wise, I'm a bit more complicated. I am pretty anti pop- but that is just because most of it sucks. If a good pop song comes out I'll give it a try. I'll give any genre a chance. I love a wide range of music from classical to folk to Electronica.

I have an amazing four year old daughter, and I am engaged to marry The Man From Portugal. We are a happy little family.

I am an Anthropologist with a love for all things Mesoamerican. There are a lot of useless facts about the Olmec, Mayans and Incans living in a goopy mix of Physical Anthropology facts and figures floating in the miasma of my brain. I have some weird dreams. If only I was a better artist.

... actually maybe it's a good thing I am not.

I love botanical gardens. No seriously. I love them. I can get lost wandering around a good garden for hours.

I spend my free time reading, writing, drawing, playing MMORPGs, photographing gardens and graveyards and...hiking.

I am mostly vegetarian. But sometimes I crave steak and I listen to my body. Don't hate me because I eat cows sometimes. smilies/icon_gonk.gif

I am a world traveler. I have lived in Alaska, New Zealand and parts of Europe. I intend to travel to Italy as soon as is humanly possible.

Here on Gaia I have a long and convoluted past which includes having been a Pirate, a Moderator, and a Troll. I have recently returned from a long break and I like what I see!
