Our male and female leads are cross-cast and they're actually together. They seem to complain a lot, but it's only been a couple weeks. It wouldn't be so bad if the guy wasn't already annoying as balls. Then the other people in the cast aren't very cool either. There's only two girls in the cast, and I like the one who isn't a lead, and there's a guy who's kind of cute and nice and all, but meh.

But I'm still making fun out of it. So it's good.

It's a French farce called King Ubu. It parodies Shakespeare stuff like Hamlet and Macbeth by telling the story of Father Ubu who gets driven by his wife Mother Ubu to murder the king of Poland and usurp the throne. Then he squanders the royal treasury, starts a war he can't win, and then flees the country back to France to escape the consequences of his actions. It's actually a pretty funny and campy play. The cast is kind of annoying though.

I only take one per quarter that's worth as much as sixteen credits. Those credits can be in different areas too, depending on the class.

But I'm taking the same class as last quarter, but with different plays and stuff. It's basically a gay theatre class, focusing on the portrayal of gays and lesbians onstage and in film, and how that portrayal changes over time. It's really fun and really interesting. I feel kind of underworked, frankly, but I'm taking Aikido lessons twice a week and also doing a play outside of class. So I have some busy.
