XD! they give you this tiem called a lucky egg, and pretty much it doubles/sometimes triples the amount of EXP you can get when fighting, so I pretty much used it for all my pokemon.

I would say white is because there's really powerful pokemon you just can't get in black, but in Black there's a really powerful pokemon you can get early on in the game that will so totally be in your party for the whole game. Sawk is his name and he's a ridiculous powerhouse.

you should give them a try, granted the new pokemon games are a little harder early on, but other than that they have themes like this one that should remind you of the past games!

Oh and my favorite thing about the new games is that it's targeted toward veteran players though giving novice players some opportunity to get introduced to the pokemon world.
