The Wolf-Girl's Innocence

So, you want to see into this life of mine?
To wander the hallways of a troubled mind?
To listen to the eerie call of her unwavering soul?
You wish to know just who she is, this stranger whom you've never met.
Yet your fear shows in your eyes as you continue to wander this hallway.
The walls, drenched in thick blood as you come closer to her resting place.
The floor littered with skeletal shapes all around you.
The blackness draws you in, yet it crushes you on either side.
The pressure is so much you can barely take it.
You round a corner and let out a scream.
A noiseless gesture of utter terror.
Not a soul can hear you.
You cannot even hear you.
You are face-to-face with a beast now.
Only two things can control her.
But where are they?
Both beings are gone, having left you to die.
To die by the maw of a terrifying creature.
To them, she is not in the least bit scary.
But to you, the terror is deep enough to force you to your knees.
You fall, pleading, begging for mercy.
A smirk plays across her blood-stained maw.
Her sharp rows of teeth are revealed in that slowly-advancing motion.
You can see it in her eyes.
The thirst that is never satisfied.
The feral look that will not cease to scream defiance.
The hunger.
And longing, for more blood.
You throw your arms over your head, trembling like a child.
She takes a step forward, intent to rip you apart, but stops.
You close your eyes, ready for the worst.
You do not see the change in scenery, or in the beast you had encountered.
Almost certain now that you are dead, you look upon a stunning white cherry blossom tree.
Sitting amongst the branches is a kindly looking maiden, smiling at you almost cunningly.
She speaks not a word as two figures are beneath the tree, watching your every move.
Your mind cannot comprehend this sudden change.
You can see the moon and glinting stars upon looking up.
The midnight sky is just as vast and breathtaking as ever.
The girl looks innocent, but around her neck lies a black collar.
One of the two figures below her is her owner.
The other, her lover.
You cannot tell which, but you do not want to find out.
Turning, you run down that hill and away from this strange sight.
From a monster to an innocent girl.
You cannot, and will never truly understand.
So, I ask again.
You want to see into this life of mine?
To look into almost innocent eyes?
Only to find that not everything is as pretty and innocent as it seems?
That deep within, there is an uncontrollable beast?
Waiting for the day.
In which she will awaken.
And return the sins of those who dared betray her.
