Stones to throw at my creator, masochists to which I cater

About me...hmmm...that's rather a broad topic to ask about. Perhaps I'll start with what I'm usually up to on Gaia. I'm usually found in Site Feedback, and occasionally found in zOMG or playing the other games, and am a total aquarium junkie. I love invites! :D

Biological specifics? I am a she, I am a straight, and I'm single (no, that doesn't mean I want to meet you in a dank alley in Towns somewhere. smilies/icon_stare.gif ). I'm probably a bit older than Gaia's projected demographic. I'm rather short, and apparently a Mary Sue, as my long locks and eyes change colors depending on lighting and moods. Forgive me if I do not post pictures - I have a memorable face, and am generally not one of those people others often forget about.
But enough about those things, as appearance is always subject to change, and overall quite unimportant.

I'm a Jack of All Trades (and Master of None). As I mentioned above, I am one of those people you're not likely to forget - it comes in handy with friends, but it's hell with prior employment. Though I find it fun to find similarities in others that I have myself, I am truly unique. Also, as one of my favored sayings goes "I generally fight for the side of the light, but I'm still not someone you want to mess with." What does that mean, you ask? It means that I am a grey area - generally in the light-grey end of the spectrum, but don't force me to go darker, you won't like it. As for some personality attributes of mine (to give you a rough outline):

Sometimes really bitchy xD

I also alternate between hopelessly idealistic and bitterly cynical from one moment to the next. Catch me on a bad day and you may well find me hostile, brash, and smug (though the latter is usually me being amusing as well). I also enjoy toggling between cold logic and looking at the world with an untainted, child-like wonder - usually the latter if I can get away with it, to escape the general cruelty of a world I have deduced with the former. Also, I am Cat People, which should tell you plenty right there. I enjoy larger dogs, but generally think small yippy dogs should become an endangered species, and that environmental groups should not be informed until it is too late to save them.

If my personality hasn't sent you running away, foolish mortal, then allow me to share some like, dislikes, and some random facts.

Likes:
- Most animals/creatures (yes, that includes snakes and other creepy-crawly things)
- Thunderstorms
- Long walks on the beach
- Good books (Historical fiction, thrillers, mysteries, brilliant fanfics, fantasy, sci-fi...just about anything but romance novels, gossip magazines, and technical manuals, really)
- Beautiful scenery
- Music in many shapes, forms, and varieties
- Intelligent conversations
- Being surrounded by those I care about
- Alone time
- Anime, particularly anything by Studio Ghibli
- Snuggles with lovers! ^.^
- A wide variety of movies and shows.
- Being an IRL troll smilies/icon_whee.gif

Dislikes:
- Mornings
- Insects that bite/sting/maim
- YAOI (rabid fanlings that don't like that can shove it where their characters like it)
- NAGGING OMFG I HATE NAGGING! D:<<<
- Stupidity and willing ignorance
- Monkeys
- Whiny Emo/Scenester/whateverthehelltheycallitthesedays kids
- Cowardly people, especially those that that cheat on their spouses/significant others
- J.K. Rowling, henceforth She-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named (especially after that travesty that was the last book, fit only to start fires and line bird cages)
- People that are too stupid/ignorant to grasp the difference between anime and cartoons.
- CHEST THIEVES.
- AI'ers! D:<
- The word "Attitude" directed at me, ever. And by "ever", I mean if you say I have an "attitude", or an "attitude problem", or any variant thereof, I will ignore you, report you, and endeavor to make your life miserable. I didn't put up with that s**t from my ex and I sure as ******** aren't going to put up with it from you.
- Bill O'Reilly
- Creepy ******** that feel the need to put those little stalker things up that tell people's IP addresses and locations and the like.
- Anyone with a disabled equipped list. ******** off, special sparkly widdle snowflakes.
- People who say Peter Paul and Mary's "Puff the Magic Dragon" is about smoking pot. *stabs*


As for characteristics in others I like, I enjoy those that are open-minded, adventurous (or willing to be!), imaginative...honestly, I enjoy people for who they are, and find the thought of changing them to be generally repulsive.

As for dislikes...if you are closed-minded, gossipy, traitorous, manipulative, cowardly, overly judgmental, have no sense of humor, and utterly lack the ability to place yourself in others' shoes..well, you can just GTFO right now.

To sum things up (needless to see, I do tend to veer off into TL;DR territory, though I strongly dislike those who do not take the time to read), though I can be contrary, eccentric, and sarcastic, you could definitely run into someone worse. I do like to be helpful, so should you need counsel or a shoulder to cry on, I'm your person. If you're looking to start a revolution, feel free to drop me a line as well, I do enjoy stirring things up.

There have been some really awesome people that have seen fit to send me shiny pixellated presents n' artwork n' stuff, and it's only right I make a fun spot to give a shout-out to them! Alas, even in my comparatively short time on here, the list has grown so extensive that there really just isn't room to write it all up anymore, and coming from me (who generally veers off into TL;DR territory anyway), that's really saying something! xD smilies/icon_heart.gif

There are also some anonymous peeps out there who have sent over some shiny stuff, and though I always wish I could send them a huge "THANK YOU!!", they chose the anonymous feature on gifting. I can't say that I blame them, as I'm quite fond of sending anonymous gifts myself, then basking in the happiness of brightening someone's day all by my lonesome. smilies/icon_3nodding.gif
